Who you are professionally speaking (e.g second year BSc Computer Science student).
What experience you have (e.g internships, voluntary, part-time, placement).
Why you want to work within your desired industry (e.g what interests you about the retail sector).
This section needs to be tailored to each role you apply for and should summarise you succinctly to
encourage an employer to read on.
Education:
List education and any relevant courses that you have completed in chronological order. Detail the
institution that you studied at, location, dates, course and the type of qualification.
For Example: BEng Aerospace Engineering, Kingston University, London, October 2010 Present
Instead of listing modules, where possible, pick the most relevant modules and evidence how you were able
to apply the theory. Likewise, consider any relevant projects which may highlight some relevant skills.
For Example: Managed deadlines and developed analytical skills by successfully interviewing a panel of
experts for advice and opinion to inform the paper.

store. I advise customers on specific products, whilst delivering excellent customer service. I also train team
members, informing them about store promotions and special offers. I am required to work accurately and
efficiently to meet store targets. This experience has allowed me to develop good communication and team
working skills.

something then describe it.
I was awarded Most Dedicated Intern by the Flight Crew Manager for my contribution to the project and
team working abilities.
Interest and hobbies:
List your interests and hobbies here. If you have an interest that is more of a passion, where your talent has
been recognised, describe it in greater detail here, up to 30 words. Again be mindful that its not just what
you did, but how you did it that will impress a prospective employer. Hobbies and interests can be a useful
way of showing that you can do a job well, even if you lack specific experience in it.
