Introduction

Field trips provide hands-on learning experiences that cannot be replicated in the classroom. They allow students to observe, handle, and examine objects and phenomena in their natural settings. Field trips stimulate interest, increase appreciation, and help develop social skills as students interact with people outside of school. Whether visiting places like the zoo, planetarium, bakery, or nature areas, field trips enrich learning and make classroom topics more relevant by connecting them to real-world examples. Careful planning is needed but the educational and motivational benefits for students are well worth the effort.

Education is not confined to classroom teaching. Life in the classroom can cover
only a small pact of our total life. It learning is to result in the total development of the
learners, we must go beyond one school walls into the community as students and as
working participants. The chief purpose of field trips is to give students firsthand
experience that cannot be had in the class room students can see, hear and handle
things and can examine them minutely. Hence field trips is an outdoor lesson in action.
Many objects and phenomena can be studied best in their natural setting field trips
provide opportunities for learning through the use of many techniques other than
reading and speaking. Field trips stimulate interest and increase appreciation. As it corelates learning in the class room with the community, it develops better social
awareness and social skills in pupils. In short, field trips provide enough raw materials
that would promote development of senses, knowledge, emotions and skills field trips
are important to help bridge the gap between education and hands on experience.
These are a highlight of the school year for most children. Whether it is the zoo, the
planetacium, or just a nature walk, children can learn more about the world and how to
interact with others when they leave the sheltered environment of the classroom.
Whatever the purpose, field trips give learning experiences. They require significant
planning and co-ordination for teachers and administrators, but students often see a
field trip as a free day out of the classroom. However students will likely have an
educational experience that they never could have had in the classroom.
Children have to learn to interact with people their classmates and others. Many
field trips involve children having to talk to adults and children from the other schools or
classes. Social skills are also enriched when the children are eating at a restaurant.
Some kids are rarely around other people except for their immediate families and peers
at school, so venturing into the public allows children to be exposed to different
situations. Field trip provide entertainment for students. They often serve as a powerful
motivates for students stirring up excitement as the trip hears.

CONCLUSION
Breaking away from the routine provides kids with a efreseher that might make them
more focused back in the classroom. Learning and fun make a great combination. Field
trips are considered fun, but the children learn as well, whether they realize it or not,
Field trips make the book learning from the classroom and extend it to life. Students
often question the importance of topics they study in the class.
Field trips, particularly for older students, can answer the questions of how learning can
be applied in life. For example, a field trip to a bakery proves that measurement and
chemistry apply beyond science classroom. There are also plenty of opportunities to
incorporate the field trip experience back into classroom activity after returning to
school.
