CS010 504-DSP

The document outlines a teaching scheme for a Digital Signal Processing course with 4 credits offered over 3 lecture hours and 1 tutorial hour per week. The course aims to introduce principles and core areas of signal processing with a programmatic approach and explore applications in various fields. It is divided into 5 modules covering topics such as discrete-time signals, Z-transforms, discrete Fourier transforms, digital filter design techniques for FIR and IIR filters, and applications of DSP like audio and image processing. Students are required to develop example programs in MATLAB/Scilab for topics involving frequency response, DFT, and filter design.
