What is the cost for becoming an international
student member of AIChE? If you are an undergraduate student, you will pay a flat fee of US $7 per year. If you are a graduate student, you will pay the lower of $50 per year, or the professional membership dues that apply to your country.

Establish an International AIChE Student Chapter With more than 160 Student Chapters worldwide, you are never too far from AIChE activity. Student Chapters meet on campus and are an important resource for networking with fellow Chemical Engineering majors at your university and practicing chemical engineers. SACHE Certificate A valued by industry Certificate of Safety Achievement is presented by the Safety and Chemical Engineering Education Program (SACHE) & the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) to AIChE students who demonstrate proficiency in process safety training modules developed for SACHE (applicable to members of an AIChE International Student Chapter with $300 paid dues to SACHE). At the completion of the academic year, a formal letter will be sent to your department chair as well as sponsoring companies and corporations. Additionally, your name will appear recognizing your achievement on the SACHE website. Student Chapters also keep you up to speed on mentoring opportunities, upcoming conferences, scholarships and competitions. In addition, youll stay current on new technologies.
