countries where violence destroys homes and neighborhoods, and displaced people
do not have access to hygiene supplies. You are invited to help with this need by
taking a cloth bag(s) that can be found in either foyer, and filling it with the
following new items: 1 adult-size toothbrush, 1 large bar bath soap, 1 fingernail
clipper (good quality), 1 dark colored hand towel. Filled bags can be returned to the
church and Sewing Circle will see they are taken to MCC. Thank you!

-During our last members meeting, one topic that was discussed briefly had to do
with variety in our worship service structure. The ministry team would like to invite
you to a time of informally sharing ideas and suggestions related to our worship
services. This will be the focus of our next Ministry Team Meeting, Mon,
September 14, 6 p.m. You are invited to come and share how you sense God might
lead us to grow in this area. Or if you can't come, feel free to share your thoughts

either verbally or written with one of the ministry team (Pastor Phil, Pastor Glen,
Deacon Steve).
-As you know Tony and Ruthie Kulp, along with big brother Winston and the rest
of the Gehman congregation recently welcomed baby Addyson Paige. She
continues to do well and we thank God for His Grace. Due to some lost work time
etc. some additional expenses have accrued. We will be placing the box in the
narthex to give the Gehman Mennonite family the opportunity to assist them. We
plan to make the box available throughout September.
-NURSERY HELP NEEDED.. If you have any interest in entertaining a group of
toddlers, during the Sunday School period, please talk to Shelby! Thanks!
-There will be a list in the narthex to sign up for the Greeter list. The sheet will be
there between church and Sunday School for those who want to be added or taken
off.
Happy Birthday! Randy B. Sauder today.
