SHREK PLAY SCRIPT


SCENE 1
Narrator: Once upon a time in a
kingdom far, far away.
(coughes) sorry there was a
Happy ogre married to a
Beautiful princess who
turned
to an ogre too!!!
Donkey: theres a ball in the
palace of
Far Far away!!
The king and queen are
inviting us!!!
Fiona: Thats true! WE need to
go my
parents are going to be
there.
So please pack up your stuff
because we are going!!!
(smiling)
Shrek: No we arent.
Donkey and Fiona: WHAT?
(surprised)
Shrek: Just look at you! You are
different now.
Because now you are an
ogre like me!

Fiona: Thats right. But theyre


my parents
Shrek!
They
love me.
Dont worry. Theyll love
you too.
Shrek: (shakes his head) I dont
think so. (sad)
SCENE 2
Narrator: Shrek Fiona and
Donkey are getting ready for the
ball while Shrek was annoyed.
And ... when the day comes..
Donkey: (already in the entrance
of the palace with Shrek and
Fiona in the car)
Ok. Get out of the car weve
arrived!
Narrator: Shrek and Fiona get
out of the car and all the people
are horrified because they are
ogres.
Shrek: (silence)

Fiona: (silence)

Shrek: see? I told you!


Fiona: whatever!

Narrator: Shrek and Fiona walk


towards the king and queen.
Fiona: mom! Dad! (hugs) I want
you to meet my husbandShrek.
Shrek: well
ah(thinking of
what to say)HI! Now I see
where Fiona took her good looks
from. (shyly smiles)
SCENE 3
Narrator: The king and queen
talk to Fiona about her husband.
King: FionaI cant believe this.
Your husband is an ogre? I dont
like him.
Fiona: but he loves me!
King: just look at what hes done
to you!
Fiona: but he loves me for who I
am! (runs away crying)
Narrator: theres when she
meets her Fairy Godmother.
Fiona: (crying)
Fairy Godmother: Oh my
dear.dont cryIm your Fairy
Godmother.
Fiona: Do I have Fairy
Godmother?
Fairy Godmother: shushushu
You will be married to a charming
princedont worry.
Fiona: But I love ShrekI just
want to live happily with him
Fairy Godmother: But
sweetheart you are a princess
and hes an ogre

Shrek: (opens the door and sees


Fairy godmother) wow more
relatives!
Fiona: Shrek please!
Shrek: Im sorry darling we are
leaving.
Fiona and Donkey: what?
Fiona: when did you decide
that?
Shrek: soon after arriving.
Fairy Godmother: I have to go
now darling..but remember
whenever you need me just call
me.
Shrek: thank you but we have all
the happiness we need..happy
happy happy!!
Fairy Godmother: so I see
(smiles)
SCENE 4
Narrator: The king tries to kill
Shrek hiring a dangerous killer,
expert on ogres
King: so how much are you
going to charge me for the ogre?
Puzz: uhmmm lets see.50
cents
King: 50 cents!!!!! But thats a
theft!!!
Puzz: thats my last offertake it
or leave it!

SCENE 5
Narrator: Puzz kills Shrek!
Shrek: we are lostin this dark
forest.
Donkey: yeahbut at least Im a
donkey..and you are notthat
means that anyone can find me
and take care of me.
Shrek: ha ha
Puzz: (appears all of a sudden)
ahahaha!!! Fear me if you dare.
(angry)
Shrek: look! A kitten! C mon
kitten kitten
Donkey: Shrek no! its
dangerous!
Shrek:
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooh!
!! Oooooooooooouch! Get it
off!!!
Donkey: ok
Shrek: (painful) who are you?
Puzz :oh please! Mister let me
go. I promise I will be a good cat.
Donkey: no!
Shrek: yes, why not?
Puzz: the king hired my services
to kill you.
Shrek and Donkey: what?

Narrator: Shrek Donkey and


Puzz are now together to find the
king and the fairy Godmother
who in fact was a witch!!
Witch: My son will be married to
Princess Fiona and hell be the
new king of Far Far away!
Charming: Yes mommy!
Witch: and hell kill that ugly
ogre!
Charming: yes mommy!
Witch: why dont you say
something smart?
Charming: me? OhyeahIm
getting hungry!
Witch:

..
SCENE 7
Narrator: Fiona is kidnapped by
the witch in order to marry
prince Charming.
Fiona: but I dont love Charming!
Witch: yes you will!!!
Hahahahaha
Charming: oh my sweet Fiona
soon you will be my wife and my
perfect queen.
Fiona: no!
..shrek!!!!..............shrek!!
(crying)

SCENE 8
Narrator: all the creatures of the
fairy tales
listen to Fiona crying and
immediately go with Shrek
Donkey and Puzz to help Fiona!
(who were lost in a magic forest)
Pinocchio: Hey Shrek! We are
here to help you! Fiona needs
you
Wolf: she loves you.
Three little pigs: She was
kidnapped by the witch!!!
Shrek: kidnapped?? Fiona my
princess!!! ok, lets Go!!!!

Fiona : ( opens her eyes)


Shrek.
Shrek: oh Fiona! My true love!
Puzz and Donkey: Its party
time!!!!!
SCENE 10: DANCING TIME
Narrator: All the creatures of
the fairy tales start dancing and
singingfionas parents are also
very ashamed for their
behaviorand at last accept
Shrek as fionas official husband.

The end

SCENE 9
Narrator: Shrek, Donkey, Puzz
and all the creatures of the tales
fight against Charming and the
witchFiona was fallen on the
foor unconscious.
FIGHT!!!
Shrek: Fiona!! Are you ok?
Fiona please forgive me..please
wake up! I promise to get along
well with your parentsbut
please wake up..
Fiona: (unconscious)

Shrek: oh please Fiona! I love
you the way you are. It doesnt
matter if you are an ogre or
human
