General Guidelines
A group of 4 students would be allotted with any IT Application Database Project.
The Project would be based on any Front-end and Backend Concept.
General Guidelines:
1.
The project should be original, of real life value, and not copied from existing
material from any source,
2.
A student should ensure that he understands what is expected by preparing a
requirement document of his understanding and get it reviewed by the Mentor.

Students are advised to give their names along with the team members
(Maximum of 4 members in each team) in the form of a synopsis (format
attached) along with Format A of their project latest by August 27, 2015
(Thursday) in hardcopy as well as softcopy. Softcopy of the synopsis along with
Format A (given below) should be submitted on mail ids of their respective
mentors.
3.2
The hardcopy of Format A along with the Synopsis should be submitted in
a proper manner : filed in a fine quality folder.
4.1
A group of 4 members shall be decided in such a way that each member
belonging to same team should also belong to the same group category defined
i.e. Group A, Group B, Group C or Group D. (list attached-Groups.xlsx)
4.2

Group A & Group C Mentees cannot have same project.

4.3

Similarly, Group B & Group D mentees cannot have same project.

The synopsis must be brief i.e. not more than 10 pages. (Format attached)

6.

Students have to give one mid-term project presentation.

7.

At the end of every month, the project progress report is to be submitted to the
coordinator in the given format B.

The student will submit his/her project report in the prescribed format:a.
Hard copy of the project report.
i) Spiral Bound for approval prior to the Hard Bound submission.
ii) Golden Print Hard Bound.

b.
Soft copy of project on CD including all resource code/compiled binary
code and the manuscript in MS-Word document format and it should be
affixed along at the end of the Hard Bound Project Report.

Note the following guidelines with respect to Preparation of the Documentation. Please
note that documentation is meant for other people, and hence it must be self-explanatory, in
all respect.
11.1 The pages coming under the preview of the CONTENTS-INDEX will be numbered in
the BOTTOM of the Page Centrally Aligned.
11.2 Font size of the documentation will be 13 Times New Roman and the pages will be one
and half line spaced. The page margin will be as under:Top 1 inch,
Bottom 1 inch
Left 1.5 inch,
Right 1 inch
11.3 Kindly note that all-methodological details and theoretical aspects must be
written in students own words. Copying from books or other students will not be
accepted, in any case.
12.
The above-mentioned guidelines may be customized, if needed, for specific
projects with the prior approval of the Mentors.
13. Templates of Golden Binding, Front Page, Contents-Index etc. (attached) for
your reference which should be strictly followed.
