Ph.D. in Composition and Cultural Rhetoric, Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY, August 2010.
Dissertation: Listening Across the Curriculum: TA Preparation in the Teaching of
Writing Drawing on writing across the curriculum (WAC) scholarship, composition TA
training scholarship, and qualitative research findings, I reveal the importance in training
disciplinary TAs to teach writing. I present principles, training methods, issues, program
development methods, and possible structures for the (re)construction of WAC TA
training programs.
