Notes on Usage:
1. When the heat input is excessive, the impact value tends to be reduced. Therefore, perform welding with
selecting proper heat input depending on the required impact value.
2. Preheating at 50~150 is required depending on steels, plate thickness and restraint.
3. Use DC(+) polarity.
4. Use 75~80%Ar+25~20%CO2 as shielding gas.

RolClad-19-S
/TF-R85
Characteristics and Applications:
RolClad-19-S/TF-R85 is a submerged arc flux-cored wire / flux which produces low impurities weld
deposit (2~3 layers) with a typical hardness of 32RC. It provides good resistance to impact and highly
resistance for high temperature softness, as well as resistance of corrosion, cold work deformation. It is
suitable for build-up welding on high carbon base metal, such as S45C, S50C, S60C...etc. Crack
susceptibility is very low particular in multiplayer that can weld up to 20mm thickness and without
micro-fissure. RolCald-19-S can be used for both build-up and hardfacing on rollers and idlers where there is
metal-to-metal wear. Typical applications include high carbon steel crane wheels, idlers, mine car wheels and
house rollers, etc..
Characteristics
(1) It is suit able for welding on high carbon base metal, such as S45C, S50C, S60C...etc.
(2) It has good impact resistance and low crack susceptibility.
(3) It has good resistance for pitting corrosion.
Notes on usage:
1.RolClad-19-S has good resistance to cross checking and is not restricted with regard to deposit
thickness.
2.Applications that are inherently crack sensitive may require one or more of the following:
High preheat and interpass temperatures 350-400 . for 1st layer.
Controlled slow cooling.

SubCor M13K
Characteristics and Applications:
SubCor M13K is a metal cored wire for submerged arc welding designed for welding 490N/mm2 grade
high tensile steel and low temperature steel, the application is similar to solid wire classification EM13K. It
provides high deposition rates as compared to the solid wires of equal size, with the same amperage,
electrical stick out and flux. Welded with SAW flux that provides smooth bead appearance, high porosity
resistance and excellent low temperature impact toughness at -50 . Typical applications include structure
steel, bridges, tank fabrication, shipbuilding and offshore fabrication.
Notes on usage:
1. Suitable for welding single and multi-wire processes.
2. To keep the toughness, the plates should not be welded with excessive heat input.
3. When the flux has been affected by moisture pick up; it has to be re dried at a temperature of 300 to 350
for 1 hour.

TF-81
An agglomerated flux for SAW
Characteristics and Applications:
TF-81 is a neutral agglomerated flux for SAW. During welding, it wont result any significant changes
composition of weld bead and thus the arc length by changing arc voltage,. This makes TF-81 very suitable to
use with wire for hardfacing applications such as TWH- 12-S, 17-S, 31-S, and TWS-410NiMo-S, 420-S, etc.
Notes on usage:
1.Dry flux at 300~350
for one hour if there is any concern about moisture pick-up while opening the pack.
1103
TFW-308H
Notes on usage:
1. Before welding, the base material should be cleaned from oil, rusty, moisture and the welding place should
have the proper protection from the wind.
2. Use 100% purity or higher CO2 shielding gas. Maintain the flow rate not less than 20L/min when wire
diameter is 1.2 or 1.6 mm.
3. Trailer Shield is required to ensure the weld pool completely shielded until solidification is complete and no
porosity problem.
4. Keep dry while in storage and delivery.

Characteristics and Applications:
TGFA series is a flux cored wire of stainless steel for TIG welding used on first layer for butt joint. Good
bead soundness without back shielding can be obtained.
Notes on usage:
1. 100%Ar shielding gas is recommended.
2. In order to have beautiful back bead appearance, the key hole formation during welding is necessary. The
proper key hole size is recommended.
3. High pitch and little by little feeding of a filler rod is a must in order to melt it adequately.
4. Keep away from moisture during storage and transportation.

1. Proper pre-heating 50~150 (120~300 ) and inter-pass temperature must be used in order to release
hydrogen which may cause cracking in weld metal when welding on medium and heavy plates.
2. Use DC(+) polarity and 100% CO2 shielding gas.
