Project: -Final Year College Project Online Railway Reservation System


Technologies: Java, Servlets 2.1, JSP 1.2, Jdbc2.0 & Tomcat5.0 server.
DESCRIPTION:
This Online Booking for Railways & Enquiry on reserved tickets was aimed at developing an online
web portal to help the online railway reservation system. The project used JDBC connectivity, Servlets
and Java Server pages for the front end & Oracle database server as the back end.
The web portal allowed users to book the railway tickets through the internet.
This feature which shows booking status contains berth number allotted to each passenger and also
provides waiting list information. Users could check the berth status by using a PNR number.
