PURPOSE
The purpose of this Standard Operating Procedure is to outline the guidelines regarding Commute facilities that are provided to employees,
direct contractors & third party contractors of INTUIT Technology Services Pvt Ltd, Bangalore India, for commuting from and to local
designated points from INTUIT office location. The transportation facilities described in this document are provided on all applicable
working days and working hours of INTUIT.

I. GENERAL
Transportation facilities are provided to employees, direct contractors and third party contractors of INTUIT for commuting from and to local
designated points from INTUIT Office Location. The Commute facilities described in this policy are provided on all applicable working days
and working hours of INTUIT.
(a) The table below defines the eligibility for employees across workforces to avail of the Company provided Commute facilities covered by
this document, unless otherwise provided and provides details on timings of transportation available on working days. Employees may avail

(b) The Commute facilities provided by the Company are limited to select city locations based on local conditions.
(c) The vehicles and routes used for the Commute facilities provided by the Company will be deemed appropriate by the Company for such
travel. In all instances, routes will be predefined based on the number of enrollments received per route, vehicle capacity and optimum
vehicle utilization.
(d) If an employee elects not to use the Commute facilities described in this document (such as when he/she makes his/her arrangements
for travel to and from the office, missing the vehicle) the costs and expenses of such travel will be at the employees own responsibility and
will not be reimbursable by the Company.
(e) The Transportation facilities are provided by INTUIT free of charge to all its employees, direct contractors and third party contractors.
(f) Working day means the normal working day as defined for the employee by the Company.
(g) Designated point means the general point of pick-up and drop-off for employees on a transport route as designated based on the
employee residence and location.
II. ESTIMATED TRAVEL TIMES
The following estimated travel times may apply.
Travel time for any employee with a designated point within a radius of 30 km of INTUIT office is estimated to be not more than 60

minutes to 120 minutes.
Travel time for any employee with a designated point within a radius of between 30km and 40 km of INTUIT office is estimated to
be not more than 150 minutes for travel to or from the designated point.
NOTE:
Such estimates of travel time have been provided as a reference for travel under normal conditions. The estimated amount of travel and
routes may change based on the traffic conditions and other local conditions. The above estimates are only given for general reference. It
is the employees responsibility to plan for his/her travel appropriately to better ensure that he/she arrives to work in a timely manner. The
Company cannot guarantee arrival or departure at any specific time and there may be unforeseen delays.
III. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF ROUTE WARDEN

The last person getting dropped on any route would be named a Route warden.
The Roles & Responsibilities of a Route Warden is to check and report on the following
The vehicle is maintained well in terms of cleanliness & basic safety standards.
Smoking & drinking are strictly not allowed inside the vehicles.
The Route Wardens of all routes would meet on a periodic basis with the facilities team and the transport Service provider to
discuss upon all concerns and solve for resolutions.
The Service provider has to ensure that the services are provided as per agreed terms & conditions.
The Drivers are briefed to comply with traffic guidelines and Route guidelines provided by INTUIT.
To ensure surprise checks carried out on routes and drivers.
Drivers briefed not to board any passengers other than INTUIT employees.
Vehicles are fitted with basic first aid kit, digital clock and portable fire extinguishers.
Vehicles are maintained in pristine condition.
Provide alternate vehicles within minimum possible time frame in case of any eventualities.
To ensure that employed drivers carry valid drivers license, Eco space driver badges, vehicle stickers & vehicle documents.
Periodic Training to drivers given on safety, grooming, attitude and behaviour.
Shall ensure that employees are not risked at any cost while transit and all precautions undertaken.
Transportation will be provided to all employees; in no event will the Commute facilities be used to transport relatives, guests, visitors
etc. of the employee.
The digital clock placed inside the vehicles is the master clock and all vehicles arrival/departure timings would be based on this
clock.
The routes, including the designated points for pick-up and drop-off will not change unless previously permitted.
In no event, will an employee attempt to use the Commute facilities for personal use and/or requests and in no event will an
employee ask the driver to stop or alter -route for such requests;
Vehicles will leave the office promptly within the window period specified regardless of whether all scheduled employees have
boarded;
As a courtesy extended to fellow employees traveling, under no circumstances will the employee request drivers to wait for pickup or
drop?

Employees must display INTUIT photo ID card at all times in a prominent manner;
Employees must be prominently present at the agreed point of pick-up and drop-off for the designated points at least 10 minutes
prior to the scheduled arrival/departure time of the vehicle;
There are defined guidelines of safety and security (including restrictions on seating and seating capacity of vehicles) that will be
followed on any route; employees are expected to comply with these guidelines;
To ensure safety, no female employee will be the last to be dropped off during late evening hours.
If an employee, who normally uses the transportation facility, does not require transportation facilities at any time (ex., absence,
vacation, etc), he/she is expected to promptly inform the Facilities department with a 24 hours notice period.
Smoking, consumption of alcohol or other substance abuse in or around the Company vehicles will not be tolerated or permitted;
Under no circumstances should employees attempt to or distract the drivers, encourage or require the drivers to go above the speed
limit, or attempt to drive Company vehicles;
Employee should promptly notify the Facilities Department of any safety concerns and/or any activity or event that threatens or could
threaten the safety and/or security of the employee and/or others.
NOTE:
An apparent non-compliance with the above guidelines and/or Company policies and codes of conduct while using the transportation
facilities provided by the Company may be subject to disciplinary action.
