SYLLABUS
COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING
Learning Objectives/Outcome: At the end of this course the learner should be able to:
1. Understand the importance of product design and development in any industry;
2. Explain engineering design and the different types of design problems to be able to describe product components;
3. Create option design concepts using various methods of manufacturing processes, implement design for
manufacturing guidelines and evaluate alternative pattern.
