E. Encoder Pole tuning procedure:
To perform the described procedure the enable (EN) input must be active.
1. Connect the motor and encoder properly.
2. Apply power to the inverter.
3. The functions mentioned in the table above must be set.
4. Set function L03 to 1 and press FUNC/DATA key.
5. Give RUN command to the inverter from the lift controller (normally in Local or
INSPECTION mode). The main contactors will be closed and current will flow through the
motor producing some acoustic noise. This procedure will take some seconds. After the
procedure was finished correctly the offset value is saved and shown in function L04.
Write down the displayed value.
If Er7 is displayed check the motor and encoder cabling and repeat steps 5 and 6 or connect
motor directly to the drive.
6. If possible, open the brake and let the cabin move some centimeters.
7. Perform steps 5 and 6 again. The result in function L04 between different measurements
must not differ more than 15.
F. Motor Auto Tuning Procedure:
1. Connect the motor.
2. Turn on the mains supply.
3. Put the controller in inspection mode.
4. Set P04 to 1 (Auto tuning mode 1), press FUN/DATA button on the keypad.
5. Press Inspection switch to give run command to the Drive or give the run command to the
drive in local mode & keep pressing it; the O/p Contactor will become ON.
6. The current flowing through the motor winding will generate sound.
7. The auto tuning takes few seconds.
8. After completion of auto tuning, the O/p Contactor will drop automatically; it means the auto
tuning procedure has been finished.
Now, Motor is ready to run.
