Comparison of Angle Modulated Schemes in Presence of Noise

Phase modulation encodes information by varying the phase of the carrier signal while keeping the amplitude and frequency constant. It is more resistant to noise than amplitude modulation as the amplitude remains constant but is still impacted by noise as phase shifts can be distorted. Phase-shift keying is a common form of digital phase modulation that transmits in discrete phase shifts to represent binary digits.
