PROFILE
I am a 20-year-old Computer Science student currently studying at the University of Sheffield. I have
been interested in computer programming for a number of years and have recently had a lot of
interest in web development. I enjoy building systems that are usable, stable and gracefully achieve
their objectives. I enjoy developing software that provides a long-term result for clients and is
maintainable for the future. I am pragmatic and work well with others to ensure jobs are completed
on time. I have a well rounded knowledge of web design and web application development and Im
quick to learn new skills when required.

EXPERIENCE
Medical Records Clerk; Airedale General Hospital Summer 2007 - 2011
While studying at Sixth Form and University I worked a holiday job in a local hospital. My job was to
store and move around the medical records within the hospital. I had responsibilities with
confidential records. I was a well trusted member of the team and was allowed to work out of hours.
UbiPOL Design Document; E@syConnects April 2011
Worked for E@syConnects (http://www.easyconnects.org.uk) where I created a design document for
an EU funded initiative. I designed the document alone which included a variety of UML diagrams
including Use-case and Class diagrams. The client was very happy with my work and the product was
delivered one week prior the to the deadline.
Electronic Medical Record System; PHASE Nepal 2011
As part of the 2nd year of my degree I had to do work for an external client. Me and a team of 4
student developers developed a Medical Record System to replace the existing paper system. We
developed the system using PHP (using CodeIgniter) with a MySQL database. Our solution was
chosen as best in the year and is currently being used in Nepal by the charity.
