Acknowledgement
First of all, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Board of direction Hue
Centre for international cooperation, particularly Mr. Ich Huan, deputy director, has
agreed and created favorable conditions and opportunities to perform my internship
course lasted five weeks here.
I would also like to be grateful to the guide staffs of Hue Centre for International
cooperation, especially to Mr. Binh, the leader of our small group, for his kind help
during the time I practiced in Hue Centre for International Cooperation.
Finally, I would like to thank the library room for giving me the precious
resources and encouragement in the time I do my practical training course in Hue centre
for international cooperation.

Hue Centre for International Cooperation is the public service having function to
advise and assist the City People's Committee in order to manage the state of
foreign affairs of the City; public services under the State management of the city
and carry out a number of tasks, other powers assigned, authorized by the
provincial People's Committee, Municipal People's Committee and other duties in
accordance with the provisions of law.
The Center has legal status, seal and separate accounts for activities, subject to the
direction and management of the organization, staff and operation of the municipal
People's Committee, and subject to the direction, guidance, control and inspection
of the professional skill of Department of Foreign Affairs.

The draft decisions, directives and other documents issued under the authority of
the Municipal People's Committee for foreign affairs ;
The draft plan, long-term plan, five -year and annual plans, programs, schemes
and projects of foreign affairs ; implementing measures to reform administrative
tasks in the field of state foreign affairs under the jurisdiction of the Centre .

To unify the management of the delegations going abroad of city and welcome
foreign delegations, international corporations visiting and working with Hue city
according to law and the decentralization of the People's Committees province.
Organization to host international delegations to visit and work with the city
People's Committee; sponsoring, coordinating with relevant agencies to organize
the delegation going abroad of the municipal People's Committee; statistics,
aggregate delegations going abroad of officials and public servants under the
management of the municipal People's Committee.

Advice and guidance for those who have needs related to the procedures for
applying for passports, exit visa and entry for Vietnamese; exit visa or entry for
foreigners; procedures for visa extension in Vietnam; collaboration with the
relevant agencies implement the immigration of Vietnamese and foreigners in the
city.

complex issues arising in the external affairs of the city.
11. Deploying to implement the administrative reform program of the center with the
objectives and contents of the program, administrative reform plans of the city
People's Committee; perform the public services under the management state of
the city.

I started the internship by meeting and making acquainted with trainees and the
staffs of Hue Centre for International Cooperation.

Mr. Hoa A Director Assistant introduced something about Hue Center for
He talked about tasks my group will work in the period of the internship.

That day we did not translate any document. However, each member worked as a
interpreter with our supervisor Mr. Binh. We talked to Mr. Binh to exchange some
experience in translation and interpretation.
Week 5:
15th July, 2013:

and Hue in particular and to enhance further and deeper relationship between
Korea- Vietnam in general.
+ Moreover, I also rendered into English other letter of Nguyen Dang Thanh
(Vice president of Hue city peoples committee) to thank letter of Mr. Lars- Erik
Hallerstrand (Project coordinate, Arvidjaur city) for cooperation between
Arvidjaur city and Hue city as well as Hue city ready to welcome Arvidjaur city
group visiting and working in Hue in the next time.

We Listened to Mr. Binh review on our work during practical training course and
he also gave some useful advice about our jobs in the future.

2. Finished Works
-
I have known more about Hue Center for International Cooperation such as name,
function, duty and so on where I had practical training course.
I have known how to translate formal letters between this organization to others.
I worked as real translator. In other words, I worked in a room with my friends and
my supervisor. My duty was to translate documents supervisor gave and I
practiced this task regularly in my internship.
3. Unfinished Works
- I have not got enough time to experience all kinds of work and I did not propose
opinions for discussing together with my supervisor.

- At the Hue Center for International Cooperation, there are a lot significant books
and newspaper that I havent read yet.
- I regretted that I had not met Mrs. Binh many times to listen to her practical experiences
4. Strong Points and Weak Points
After practical time, I realized that I have got some strong points as follows:
- Being active in office administration work.
- Going to office on time and regularly.
- Being a patient careful person. During my internship, when I translate difficult
documents, I tried to find a lot of relating information sources, looked up difficult
terms carefully and I made the best efforts to complete translating document and
meet a deadline.
Also, having known how to apply what I study in university into practice.
Knowing how to find suitable methods in order to solve the difficulties.
However, I still have some shortcomings beside above mentioned strong points:
Lacking in background knowledge as well as professional knowledge such as
sports, technology, medicine, etc. Therefore, I had a problem in translating various
documents.
Lacking a lot of vocabulary terms in the construction.
5. Experiences
- During five week practical training course at Hue Center for International
Cooperation I have really learnt a lot of experience about the style of working in

of the department,ect.
Moreover, I encountered many specialized terms that I had never met before. This
