1.2 Topography:
The topography of Bareilly district is mainly a plain landmass. Bullai, Domath and
Matiyar are commonly found soils in the district. Due to tarai region the climate of the district is
very pleasant. The district enjoys a moderate and pleasing climate with cool and foggy winter
and generally hot & humid summer. Here summer starts very early and the temperature of the
district is varies from 4 C in winter to 44 C in summer. The wet session normally starts in the
end of June month to September. The average rainfall is 1050 m m. The winter months are
virtually dry.
