GAME 1 RECAP: The Rainiers were limited to only 3 hits as Tacoma wasa shutout by Salt Lake in game 1 on Thursday night. SS Ketel Marte
(1x2, BB, SB), DH Jesus Montero (1x2, BB) and 1B Leury Bonilla (1x2) each recorded 1 of the teams 3 hits. Starter Forrest Snow
(4.0,3,2,2,0,5,2HR) recorded the loss after allowing solo home runs in the 3rd and 4th innings. RH Logan Bawcom (3.0,2,0,0,2,2) allowed 2
hits, while walking 2 and striking out 2 in 3.0 scoreless innings in relief.
GAME 2 RECAP: Starter Andrew Kittredge and relievers Yoervis Medina and Dominic Leone combined on a 3-hit shutout as Tacoma
defated Salt Lake 4-0 in game 2 on Thursday night. Kittredge (4.0,3,0,0,1,3) allowed 3 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 3 over 4.0
scoreless innings. Medina (2.0,0,0,0,1,1) earned the win after tossing 2.0 hitless inning in relief, while Leone (1.0,0,0,0,1,2) walked 1 and
struck out 2 in a scoreless 7th inning to secure the win. RF Stefen Romero (2x3, R, HR, RBI) and 3B Patrick Kivlehan (1x3, R, HR, 2 RBI)
each homered and combined to drive in 3 of the teams 4 runs. 1B Jesus Montero (2x3, R, RBI) recorded the Rainiers only other multi-hit
contest.

RECAP: Starter Jake Zokan and relievers Trey Cochran-Gill and Tony Zych combined on a 7-hit shutout as Jackson defeated Biloxi 2-0 on
Thursday night. Zokan (5.2,7,0,0,3,6) allowed 7 hits and struck out 6 over 5.2 scoreless innings, but did not factor into the decision. CochranGill recorded his first career AA win, allowing 2 hits over 2.1 scoreless innings in relief. RH Tony Zych (1.0,0,0,0,0,0) tossed a 1-2-3 9th inning
to earn his 3rd save of the season. LF Jabari Blash (2x4, R, 2B), 3B Jordy Lara (2x4, R, 2B) and DH Daniel Paolini (2x4, 2B, RBI) each
recorded 2 of the Generals 9 hits.

OF Dario Pizzano extended his hitting streak to a career-high 23 games, batting, .404 (38x94) with 10 runs scored, 5 doubles, 3 triples, 1

o Pizzano 22-game hit streak is the longest in his career, passing a career-high 19-game hitting streak with Clinton in 2013 (19 G, 8/725/13 w/Clinton).
o Pizzano set a franchise record hitting in 23 straight games, breaking the prior mark of 20 games set by Jeff Frazier with the West
Tenn Diamond Jaxx in 2007.

o Blash was the 7th minor league player, first Mariners player, to record at least 7 RBI in a game in 2015he is currently T3rd most in
the minors this season.

Since returning from the DL, INF Tyler Smith is batting .368 (14x38) with 8 runs scored, 5 doubles, 1 home run, 5 RBI, 5 walks, 1 stolen
base and 1 hit by pitch.
o Smith was named Southern League Player of the Week, May 4-10Smith hit safely in all 6 games he appeared during the week with
3 multi-hit contests, batting .455 (10x22) with 6 runs scored, 4 doubles, 1 home run, 5 RBI and 5 walks.

INF D.J. Peterson has hit safely in 6 of his last 8 games, batting .323 (10x31) with 2 runs scored, 1 double, 3 RBI, 3 walks and 1 stolen
base.
