HULTZEN STARTING: LH Danny Hultzen made his season debut with AA Jackson on May 1 vs. vs. Pensacola. He allowed 1 run (0 ER) on
3 hits over 3.1 innings, but did not factor into the Generals 8-3 win. He walked 1 and struck out 4, while throwing 56 pitches, 38 strikes. He
appeared in 1 game with the Mariners during Spring Training on March 11 vs. Colorado, allowing only 1 walk in 1.0 scoreless inning in relief.
Hultzen will be making his first start with an affiliated team since Sept. 1, 2013 vs. Sacramento, while on the AAA Tacoma Rainiers roster. He
missed all of the 2014 season after having left shoulder surgery on Oct. 1, 2013 to clean up his labrum and a partial tear of the rotator cuff and
repaired the capsule. Hultzen was the Mariners first round selection (2nd overall) in the 2011 First-Year MLB Player Draft. In 2 minor league
seasons (2012-13), he is 14-8 with a 2.82 ERA (50 ER, 159. 2 IP) in 32 starts. He has made 18 starts with AA Jackson between 2012-13,
going 5-5 with a 4.42 ERA (39 ER, 79.1 IP).

the season, allowing 2 runs on 3 hits in 6.0 innings. 3B Gianfranco Wawoe went 0-for-4 snapping his hitting streak at 17 games. RH Osmer
Morales (0.2,0,0,2,1) and LH Jarrett Brown (2.1,2,0,0,0,1) combined to hold the Chiefs scoreless over the final 3.0 innings in relief.
MISSAKI PITCHER OF THE WEEK: RH Daniel Missaki was named Midwest League Pitcher of the Week, April 27-May 4. In his only start
this week, Missaki was the part of a combined no-hitter as Clinton defeated Cedar Rapids 2-0 on May 1. He allowed only 1 walk, while striking
out 7 in 7.0 no-hit innings (see note below for more info on Clintons no-hitter). Overall this season, Missaki is 1-1 with a 3.68 ERA (12 ER, 29.1

NO HITTER: Starter Daniel Missaki and relievers Kody Kerski and Troy Scott combined to throw the LumberKings 23rd no-hitter in
franchise history as Clinton shutout Cedar Rapids 2-0 on May 1. It was the first combined no-hitter for Clinton since 1996, and the first in club
