Note
This is a high-risk MML command, and therefore exercise caution when executing this command.
Running this command may cause the following major impacts:
After the eNodeB ID is changed, reset the application referenced by the eNodeBFunction MO by
running the RST APP command. If the application referenced by the eNodeBFunction MO is not
reset within 10 minutes after the eNodeB ID is changed by running this command, ALM-26245
Configuration Data Inconsistency will be reported.
If the Update eNB Configuration Via X2 Switch parameter is set to ON(On) for a neighboring
eNodeB, after the eNodeB ID is changed, the eNodeB notifies the neighboring eNodeB the changes
of active cells of the eNodeB through the X2 interfaces. The neighboring eNodeB then updates the
neighbor relationship configurations. The update takes a certain amount of time. If no active cells
exist under the eNodeB, the eNodeB will not inform the neighboring eNodeB the changes. If the
eNodeB ID is repeatedly changed within a short period, the neighboring eNodeB cannot completely
update the neighboring cell configurations. In this case, the configurations must be updated
manually or by ANR. It is recommended that the interval between two changes of the eNodeB ID be
longer than 60 seconds.
Before changing the ID of an eNodeB under which there are intra-eNodeB neighbor relationships,
you need to manually remove all neighbor relationships with cells under this eNodeB.
eNodeB Function Name will be synchronized from U2000 to the eNodeB automatically.
Parameters
ID
Name
Description
eNodeBFunctionName
eNodeB ID
UserLabel
User Label
Example
To modify an eNodeB function with the parameters as follows: ENodeBId: 38602,
UserLabel: lte-1, run the following command:
MOD ENODEBFUNCTION: eNodeBId=38602, UserLabel="lte-1";

Note
This is a high-risk MML command, and therefore exercise caution when executing this command.
Running this command may cause the following major impacts:
After this command is executed, run RST APP to reset the application referenced by the
eNodeBFunction MO for the application to take effect. You can run LST ENODEBFUNCTION to
view the application referenced by the eNodeBFunction MO. If the application referenced by the
eNodeBFunction MO is not reset within 10 minutes after the eNodeB sharing mode is changed by
running this command, ALM-26245 Configuration Data Inconsistency will be reported.
If the eNodeB works in independent mode, only one operator can be added to the eNodeB. This
operator must be the primary operator.
Parameters
ID
Name
Description
ENodeBSharingMode
Applicable Mode: L
Example
To change the value of eNodeB sharing mode to INDEPENDENT, run the following
command:
MOD ENODEBSHARINGMODE: ENodeBSharingMode=INDEPENDENT;
