1 Purpose
The QcomDloader tool is to guide the after-sale service personnel and related personal
to download and upgrade phone software of Qualcomm platform

2 Application scope
The manual is suitable for mobile phone of Qualcomm platform aim to after-sale
service personnel and related personal to download and upgrade mobile software

4 Install
4.1 Install Usb driver
1. How to install usb-driver
Run Setup, pop up following window

USB cable

Click Next button

Choose I accept the terms in the license agreement, Click Next button

Click Install button

Click Finish button.

2.check following windowif show Qualcom HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (comX)when


phone is connected to pc with usb cable
It means that usb driver had been installed well

5 Operation steps
5.1 Run QcomDLoader tool
This tool doesnt need to install it. Only need double-click QcomDLoader.exe to run it
in tool folder, the UI is following:

There are five buttons in main UI, they are LoadSettingsStartStopAbout


Click Load button in the upper left Choose software that prepare to download or
upgrade. Please see the following figure

5.2 Click Settings to configure QcomDLoader


Click Settings button, pop up the following UI

eMMC Programmer: prog_emmc_firehose_8916.mbn


Raw Program: rawprogram_unparse.xml
Patch0: patch0.xml

The files are been included in the software package. Please see below if the
names in setting UI are difference with the names in the software package,
please stay the same with names in the software package

For example: rawprogram_unparse.xml in the software package


So Raw Program column must fill in for: rawprogram_unparse.xml

ClickOKthen exit the setting UI

5.3 Click Start to Download


Method 1: Click Start button in main UI Please firstly enter to factory mode(press
volume upper and power buttons, please see the following figure of factory mode) then
connect phone to PC with USB cable to download.

Method 2: Click Start button in main UI Please firstly enter to 9008 download
mode(Press the volume upper and volume down keys together), then connect phone to
PC with USB cable to download.

1. After finished download completely, can download again with the same port.
