St. Columba Schools Last Fling in the Spring Carnival
& $1,000 Opportunity Draw will be held on Saturday,
April 25th, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Cost: tickets $1
and wristbands $20.
Live performances begin at 10:00 a.m. with a talent show,
band and DJ to follow. Food booths include Mexican,
Korean and Asian options, fruit stand and more! Games
include an obstacle course, bounce houses, giant slide,
cake walk, jail house, confetti eggs, crafts along with football, baseball and basketball booths.
Stop by the school office for pre-sale tickets & Opportunity Draw only $10/chance or 15 tickets/$100. Get your

Stewardship as a Way of Life


One of the first standards of Stewardship is a realization
that God is responsible for everything that you have in
your life, The next standard is acknowledging that divine presence. St Catherine of Genoa said, "The fullness
of joy is to behold God in everything."

Monthly Schedule
ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT: 2nd
Saturday, Daily Chapel, 8:30 am3:30 pm. Holy Hour for
Life with chaplet of Divine Mercy, 2:30-3:30 pm.
BIBLE SHARING: Mondays, 8:00-9:30 a.m. in the Ministry Center (except in July & August).

No Bingo on Good Friday

BINGO: Every Friday night at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at


4:00 p.m. Babysitting is available.

Please note that we will not have bingo on Good Friday.


Also, if you like to plan ahead, we will not have bingo
on April 24th as well.

CHILDCARE: Every Sunday at 9:30 am in the Preschool;


for infants and children up to four years of age.

Easter Flowers
If you would like a lily plant placed at the Altar for Easter in memory of or in honor of a
family member or friend, please complete the
special Flower Offering envelope in the
pews and place in the offertory basket. The
suggested donation is $10.00. Donors may
take their plants home the week of April 12th.

Divine Mercy Sunday


The Sunday after Easter is universally observed throughout the Church as Divine Mercy Sunday. St. Pope John
Paul II established the Feast of Divine Mercy Sunday
during the canonization of St. Faustina in the Jubilee
Year 2000. Our Lords great promise: The soul that will
go to Confession and then receive Holy Communion
shall obtain the complete forgiveness of sins and punishment. We want to encourage everyone to take advantage of this incredible promise on this Great Feast of
Mercy.
Fr. Mel invites everyone in the parish to attend the Divine Mercy Sunday Devotion with Exposition of the
Blessed Sacrament on Sunday, April 12th from 2:30
3:30 p.m. in the Church. A cake reception will follow in
the Hall.

Retrouvaille
A program designed to help troubled marriages that
consists of a weekend experience and seven postweekend sessionsupcoming dates: April 10-12 and

Parish Council
In June of this year, three members of our Parish Pastoral Council will end their term. If you are interested
in being considered for appointment to serve on the
Council, please contact Fr. Mel. The Council meets once
a month at 6:00 p.m. in the Hall.
