I w ould like to share my interview experience at Polaris , Chennai. Hope it w ill be useful.

On July 12, I had PAT (Polaris Aptitude Test) at Navalur branch. It w as quite easy for me.
It had 50 questions (25-Apps & 25-Verbal and Non-Verbal). Most of the questions in apps
w ere from R.S.AGARW AL's.
I'm really thankful to IndiaBix, for being a great guide for me in the verbal and non-verbal
parts. The questions for synonyms and antonyms w ere asked from this site.
The test span w as 1 hour 10 mins. Out of w hich I w as able to complete verbal and non
verbal parts w ithin 15 minutes. As soon as I completed my test and clicked the submit
button, my mark w as displayed.
The cut-off to clear PAT w as 30/50. To my happiness,I cleared PAT. Then I w as informed
that the further process of interview w ill be informed later. Then I got a call from the HR
dept that my Technical HR interview w ill be held on July 15.

It w as the day and I w ent to Polaris at 10 a.m. I w as said to go to the particular building,
after completing the initial formalities. It is a must for everyone to have a govt ID proof.

Hr : W hat are you doing all these days after completing your degree?
Me : Sir I'm doing a course in Java.
Hr : Good. Can you tell me the standards used in programming?
Me : (Asked him to explain the question so that I don't misunderstand it)

Me : Sir, I've got a moderate know ledge in programming,an adequate know ledge in
banking and good interpersonal skills w hich are the three basic utterly required skills for
Polaris. Hence I'm sure that i w ill suit Polaris.
Hr : Ok Nisha. Do you have any questions?
Me : (After a little thinking) Sir, w hat kind of projects do u w ork for , at Polaris?

Me : Ok sir.
Hr : Thank you Nisha. W e'll let you know
Me : Thank you Sir. I'm looking for a positive response.(I didn't complicate this by bluffing )
Hr : Yeah. Ok.

Then after half an hour I w as informed that I w as selected. Thank God! Such a great
moment that w as , after w aiting for months since my degree completion to get placed.
The main thing checked at Polaris is your communication skills. Be bold, look straight and
answ er confidently. Success is yours!
