2.1 MECHANICALLY-ACTUATED
SELECTIVE CONTROL VALVES M-SCV
100 Series M-SCV
The M-SCVs provide a full range of features which

gives the flexibility to operate all hydraulic equipment
on the farm. The M-SCVs are located at the rear of the
tractor. The selective control valves may be used in
any of the available positions.
Three different M-SCV versions are available:
100 Series, 200 Series or 300 Series. These M-SCVs
can only be used with PFC hydraulic system with
axial piston pump.
The M-SCV field kit contains as well the
corresponding quick couplers. The below listed
actuating parts have to be ordered separately according
to the mounting position of the M-SCV and this parts
include the new color-coded dust protection housings.

Reduce internal oil leakage to minimum.
Ensures that the tractors hydraulic supply works

Additional hydraulic oil reservoir 14 litres
More and more applications require the use of
hydraulic components. Big trailers with telescopic
cylinders, for example, easily require 30 litres or more
of hydraulic oil to dump the trailers platform.
To increase the amount of hydraulic oil at your
disposal for such applications, John Deere offers an
additional hydraulic oil reservoir for easy field
installation on 6030 Series Premium tractors. These
reservoir provide additional 14 litres of hydraulic oil to
increase the withdrawal capacity of your hydraulic
system.

Cold start packages

With a cold start package your tractor is fully prepared
for cold weather conditions. All required mounting
parts are included in the field installation kit.
Coolant pre-heater
A cold start - defined as a start with an engine
temperature lower than 10C - places stress on the
engine. Due to the quick and unbalanced heating of the
engine, parts wear out more rapidly. With the help of a
coolant heater the engine block is warmed and
therefore provides an easier start and reduces wear.
Furthermore, it is important that the engine reaches its
optimum operating temperature as fast as possible.
This reduces fuel consumption and reduces exhaust
emissions. Result: lower operating costs and less
environmental pollution.

John Deere offers an auxiliary power strip kit to hook
up electrical accessories to the tractor. It allows you to
expand your outlet needs while providing quick and
convenient hookup. The installation is flexible and
easy.
Six additional electrical outlets give either permanent
or ignition key controlled power for such items as:
Computers, portable telephone charges, implement
monitor.
Powerstrip Adapters
Powerstrip adapters allow electrical connection for

Battery cut-off switch

Performance and power are very important for your
daily work with agricultural machinery, but sometimes
power needs to be cut off. For example, when the
tractor is left unattended or during welding operations,
when special safety measures need to be considered,
the battery should be shut down.
Therefore John Deere offers battery cut-off switches
for field installation. These kits protect the battery
from damage resulting from short circuits as well as
from discharging due to monitors or radios left
switched on when the engine is turned off. As a visual
status indicator a LED lamp is turned on when battery
is connected.

Back-up alarm
Reduce with HMS Plus (Headland Management

System) the number of manual tasks by sequencing
multiple tractor functions into one button and therefore
operator fatigue, especially at headlands. It can help
gain you time in the field and ensure your headland
operations are as precise at the end of the day as they
were when your started your work. For example, with
one push of a switch, you can raise the hitch, adjust a
hydraulically driven implement, shut off the PTO,
disengage the MFWD and turn off the differential
lock. All this is done in the sequence you set and the
system can repeat the manoeuvres according to a
programmed distance. Touch the button again to return
to the previous setting - field work has never been that
easy or productive!

Horizontal suspension (45 mm / 1.77 inch) to
damp oscillations of implements, trailers at high
speed or in difficult terrain. Minimizes horizontal
vibrations when travelling fast, pulling

terrain to prevent harmful shocks from the drivers

Lateral suspension (+/- 25 mm / 0.98 inch) absorbs
vibrations and shocks coming crosswise to the
driving direction to protect the divers back,
especially the lumbar area for more comfortable
sitting even when driving at slopes.
The seat pan depth adjustment for quick
adjustment of seat cushion to de drivers body
size. Optimally supports thighs of different length.
Seat cushion inclination in 4 steps to relief
pressure from the knees.
An active carbon layer is located under the seat

cover removes body moisture and the discomfort
of sweating. Features a special pore structure
which absorbs millions of water molecules - 1
cm2/0.16 inch2 of cover material has an inner
surface nearly as big as a soccer field! More
operators comfort through a dry and pleasant seat
climate.
Seat heating provides pleasant seat comfort even

Foldable armrest with height and angle
adjustment: Wide and ergonomically contoured

electronic joysticks. Electrically-actuated multifunction levers (joysticks) with gear shifting can now
be field installed for higher productivity and comfort transmission PowerShift shifting and simultaneous

The extended track and extra-wide vehicle lighting are
intended only for 6-cylinder tractors with a 335 mm
(13.19 inch) hole-circle diameter on front wheels and
with a 275 mm (10.83 inch) hole-circle diameter on
rear wheels.
In order to work as efficient as possible, progress in
row planting and the use of wider attachments demand
flexible track widths. To meet these demands John
Deere offers track extensions for 6030 Series Premium
6-cylinder tractor models.
With the help of the extended track, it is possible to
cover more rows at once and to ride within the rows
without affecting cultivations or banks. For sprayer
applications the new field installation kits provide
another advantage: the extended track of the tractor
allows a superior support and balance adjustment of
the sprayer.
Two different extensions are available:
Extension 2 x 94 mm provides a track extension to
2000 mm. Depending on the overall tractor width,
additional lighting kits for extra-wide vehicles are
available.
Extension 2 x 219 mm provides a track extension
to 2250 mm. Due to the resultant overall tractor
width the kit also includes extra-wide vehicle
lighting and a warning sign.

Pneumatic trailer brake

The pneumatic trailer brake system consists basically
of a two line system. This is the same as used today on
commercial vehicles.

short brake pedal travel allows braking of the
trailer without braking the tractor. This feature is
required to control the trailer and prevent jack
knifing.
A quick release valve opens the trailer brake
immediately after release of the brake pedal for
better acceleration.
Single line systems for pneumatic trailer brakes are

available as well. These kits are supplementary to the
dual-line systems, they can not be used stand alone.
The dual-line system has to be installed first before the
single line system should be ordered.
The field kits below permit the tractor to be retro-fitted
with a pneumatic trailer brake system. The pneumatic
