Snow Daisies Cardigan Pattern

Flowers sprinkled over a heavy cardigan for outdoors. Plenty of room for a sweater underneath.
MATERIALS:
CHADWICK'S RED HEART KNITTING WORSTED (1 oz. balls or 2 oz. skeins). Size 1418 oz. Size 1619 oz. Size 1821 oz.
Size 2022 oz.

1 ball of light contrasting color and a few yards of dark contrasting color for embroidery for each size.
Clark's O.N.T. Knitting Pins, 1 pair No. 6 and 1 pair No. 4.
9 buttons.

Bind off remaining sts for shoulder.

RIGHT FRONT Work to corre-spond with Left Front, reversing shapings and making a buttonhole when piece
measures
and thereafter every 2 inches until 8 buttonholes have been made (9th button-hole is made in Neckband).
To make a buttonhole, starting at front edge, k 2, p 2 tog, O, k 2.
NECKBAND Sew shoulder seams. With right side facing and No. 4 needles, pick up around neck edge
Work in ribbing of p 2, k 2, making a buttonhole in line with previous button-holes when band measures inch.
Con-tinue until band measures inch. Bind off in ribbing.
SLEEVES With No. 4 needles cast on
Work in ribbing of k 2, p 2, until piece measures 1 inches. Now inc 1 st at both ends of every 5th row until
there are on needle
Work straight until piece measures in all
To shape top, bind off at beginning of next 2 rows

Block to measurements given. Sew under-arm and sleeve seams. Sew in sleeves. Sew buttons on left front to
correspond with buttonholes on right front. Em-broider flowers with lazy daisy stitches and French knots as in
illustration.
