Question 1
During World War II, some Japanese pilots, called kamikaze, deliberately
crashed their planes into enemy battleships. In other cases, Japanese
soldiers fought fanatically to the death rather than surrender. Discuss
relationship between these actions and Bushido.
The relationships between those actions are the loyalty to their lord,
the spirit to make sure their lord secure and honor. Its same with Bushido
because same with two elements important in Bushido are loyalty to lord and
honor. For an example of loyalty, kamikaze and Japanese soldier willing to die
for their lord. This was same with notion of Bushido, loyalty. Samurai very
loyalty to their lord and make sure their lord safe. Moreover, kamikaze and
Japanese soldier can get honor from those action because they willing die to
make sure their lord secure. Because of that, kamikaze and Japanese soldier
rather die because honor is important to people. This relate to Bushido
concept, samurai willing to do something such as sacrificed their life to get
honor and make sure their family also get honor. Those actions have related
to Bushido notion.
