Good to know
The isel Germany AG machines are modularly built using isel aluminum special profiles in the tried-and-tested framework design. All linear axes are also
included in the isel product range and run on polished, precision steel shafts
with patented linear ball bearings. Clearance-free ball screws are used as
drives with hardened and polished ball screw spindles as well as adjusted lead
angles, depending on the application.

Step or server motors can also be used as drive motors as well as direct drive
with linear or torque motors. The control cabinet integrated in the machine
incorporates all isel CAN CMC control systems for three and more axes. The
operation of the machine is carried out via the similarly integrated isel CNC
operating panel. This then makes it possible to use a range of applications on
this windows-based system. In addition to well-established programming and
interpreter software, we also offer 3D CAD/CAM software.
A comprehensive range of accessories such as speed-controlled spindle motors, linear and round changers, a patented tool-cooling system as well as
handling systems for the tool-table transport round off the product range.

ICP series CNC machines
The ICP series CNC machines are a further development of
the tried-and-test CPM series. By the introduction of a sliding
door, the machines can now be operated in sitting position,
which, amongst other things, results in shorter cycle times for
opening the cover.
The chassis is completely bolted, instead of welded like its
predecessor. This produces higher precision when assembling
the machine and makes it easier to service. Moreover, it was
possible to optimize the resonance and vibration behavior and
thus achieve lower noise levels.

The ICV 4030 is a further development of the tried-and-tested, 3D-capable CNC machine CPV 4030, which is delivered
ready for connection to the power supply.
The sliding hood, which opens upwards, can be conveniently
operated from a sitting position. The completely bolted chassis produces higher precision when assembling the machine
and makes it easier to service.

prerequisites for working with the ICV 4030 are basic knowledge of CNC systems, general IT literacy and basic knowledge

FlatCom S 20 & S 40 CNC machines
The FlatCom Series S is a further development of the
well-known GFM 4433 flat bed unit. The robust version in aluminum framework construction together
with our tried-and-tested ball screw feed of the LES
series ensure a high degree of stability and precision
in combination with good dynamics.
Machines in the FlatCom S series are suitable for versatile applications in the industrial sector as well as
the semi-professional area. Whether as a pure CNC

machine for light milling applications or for implementing inspection tasks:

you can carry out all these tasks thanks to the flexible
array of additional components.
The integrated control system with intelligent control
core makes it possible to connect additional peripheral equipment or integrate it into a higher-level equipment system. Using the control system in the CNC
operating mode makes autonomous operation of the
equipment possible. Otherwise you will need a conventional PC/notebook to operate the equipment via
the supplied control software. The control computer,
the notebook and the notebook tray are not included
in the scope of delivery.

Robust and powerful 3D control technology

CAN-CNC control system
Under rigorous application of the CANopen standards from CiA (CAN in Automation), isel Germany
delivers a high-quality PC-based CAN-CNC control
system for intelligent positioning/drive units and I/0
modules.
The CAN-CNC control system supports interpolated
mode (linear, circular and helix) from up to six positioning drives per machine as well as up to 127 handling axes or CAN modules.
The high time constraints of a CNC controller are
guaranteed by a WDM driver developed by isel. An
additional real-time operating system for Window is

not required. This guarantees upward compatibility

with future Windows versions (Win7 scheduled).
The CAN controlling is a purely software solution for
PCs with Windows 2000/XP/VISTA. The CANopen
PCI card iCC 10/20 serves as the interface.
Due to the functionality offered, the CAN-CNC control system is suitable for all machining tasks such
as milling, engraving, drilling, turning, water-jet and
laser-beam cutting as well as for applications in automatic control engineering.
ProNC provides a universal programming environment.
