Eligibility: A minimum of 60% aggregate in qualifying examination.
Note:(i) Admissions to M.E./M.Pharm are based on performance in computer-based online test
conducted by BITS. The online tests will be held during 1st-2nd June 2013 at centers in India.

(i) Full time students: Candidaes are required to devote their full time towards Ph.D. Selected
Candidates willl be entitled to 90% tuition fee waiver
(ii) Part time students: Candidates working in organizations situated preferably in close vicinity of
campuses of BITS Pilani will be admitted under this scheme. They may be considered for 80%
waiver in tuition fee.
(iii) Ph.D. Aspirants: Industries and R&D organizations collaborating with BITS may sponsor candidates
to work for Ph.D. under this scheme
Input qualification: M.E/M.Pharm./MBA/M.Phil of BITS or its equivalent with a minimum of 60%
aggregate. Candidates with an M.Sc./B.E./ or an equivalent with a minimum of 60%
aggregate will also be considered for Ph.D. admission. For Ph.D. Programme in Languages and
Humanities, candidates with an M.A. and with minimum of 55% aggregate may also be considered.

Assistantship and fee waiver


Applicants for admission to the Ph.D. and Higher Degree programs will also be considered for
Teaching/Project/Research assistantships to the tune of upto Rs 8800 p.m. for Higher Degree and
Rs 15400 p.m. for Ph.D. in addition to partial tuition fee waiver scheme.

Application procedure
Eligible candidates may apply through the prescribed application form available online at
www.bitsadmission.com and take a printout of the filled form. The completed application
form along with the proof of fee payment of Rs 1750 should be sent to
Admission officer, BITS, Pilani-333031. Details of fee payment modes are available at the
website while applying online.
Deadline for applying online with prescribed fee is 5.00 P.M. on 20rd May 2013.
