All countries are eith masculine, feminine or plural!

Jhabite/je vais au Japon (Au is used when a country is masculine)


Some masculine countries : Portugal, Canada, Brsil, Luxembourg, Maroc etc.
Jhabite/je vais en France (En is used when a country is feminine)
Some feminine countries : Angleterre, Espagne, Italie, Chine, Pologne, Sude, Belgique etc.
Jhabite/je vais aux Etats-unis(Aux is used when a country is plural)
Some plural countries : Pays-bas (Holland)
But always use when talking about a town
Jhabite/je vais Londres ( is used when you talk about a town)
Je vais Paris en France (I am going to Paris in France)
