1. Introduction:
At the heart of any successful activity lies a well-planned human resource department. The fundamental premise of
this subject is that different organizations require different human resources management (HRM) policies and
practices. HRP, thus helps human resources (HR) managers plan and make decisions about the allocation of
resources for the effective management of people in organizations.
2. Objectives:
To help students evolve who will become future human resources managers and decision makers in their
knowledge of human resources planning, job analysis and its application
Encourage students to understand hiring and acquisition of human resources, takebehavioral interviews,
campus placement, orientation, induction, design employment tests, global sourcing interview techniques,
awareness on modern selection techniques, e-recruitment and write job descriptions.
To learn about human resources planning procedures of various organizations and industry through cases.
