Nighstick XPP-5422G Intrinsically Safe Polymer Dual-Light
These non-rechargeable dual-lights are cETLus, ATEX, IECEx and MSHA listed Intrinsically
Safe Permissible for use in both above and below ground hazardous locations where
explosive gases and dusts may be present. They each use a CREE LED rated at 120
lumens that works in conjunction with a highefficiency deep parabolic reflector to create a
usable flashlight beam rated at 170 meters. A 120 lumens unfocused floodlight is integrated
into the housing which is perfect for close-up illumination. Additionally both the flashlight and
the floodlight can be turned on at the same time for maximum versatility. XPP-5422G Green

The Nightstick NSP-4608B multi-function LED headlamp provides spot lighting for distance,
flood lighting for close range and dual lighting - a combination of both spot and flood for
maximum brightness. The adjustable elastic headstrap on this Nightstick headlamp is
rubberized on the inside for non-slip use - works well on your head, helmet or hard hat.
Nighstick NSP-2422 Series Dual-Light
The NIGHTSTICK NSP-2422 Series features Dual-Light functionality, which combines the
sharp-focused beam of light produced by its LED flashlight with the unfocused floodlight
integrated into the polymer housing. By providing the additional ability to turn both
independent lights on at the same time, the NSP-2422 offers unrestricted usage of bidirectional light to meet the widest variety of needs. Using a CREE LED rated at 130
lumens, in addition to a high-efficiency deep parabolic reflector, the sharp-focused flashlight
beam on the NIGHTSTICK NSP-2422 reaches a distance of 181 meters, or just over 590
feet. The body-mounted CREE LED floodlight, which uses no reflector, is rated at 110
lumens, giving the light it casts a wide and even unfocused pattern, which is perfect for
close-up illumination. Employing dual-body switches, both the flashlight and floodlight can be
used either independently or simultaneously, providing the user greater versatility and a
vastly increased level of safety. Activating the flashlight mode occurs through a top body
switch, which gives the user a choice between momentary or constant-on output. The
bottom body switch operates the floodlight. Pressing both puts the user into Dual-Light
mode. The light will run in constant-on flashlight mode for 9.5 hours, floodlight mode for 10.5
hours, and in Dual-Light mode, for 5 hours. Keeping true to the NIGHTSTICK brand, the
NSP-2422 Series is as rugged and durable as they come. With an engineered polymer

XPP-5410G and XPP-5412G Intrinsically Safe Penlights
A number of industries and jobs are rated hazardous by the U.S. National Institute for
Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA). In these situations, the job has an
inherent risk for harm if the hazardous environment isnt well controlled. Management is
challenged therefore to identify intrinsically safe equipment as it is defined by OSHA that
promotes the safety and security of everyone on the job site and the site itself. This, of course,

OSHA defines intrinsically safe in Standard # 1910.307(c)(1) of its regulations as, Equipment
and associated wiring approved as intrinsically safe is permitted in any hazardous (classified)
location for which it is approved. Both the XPP-5410G and XPP-5412G are listed Intrinsically
Safe for use in Class I, II, III, Division I, and Groups A, B, C, D, E, F, and G hazardous
locations. They are also cETLus, ATEX and IECEx listed Intrinsically Safe for use in both
above and below ground hazardous locations where explosive gases and dusts may be
present. These penlights join a long list of Intrinsically Safe products already on the market
from Nightstick, bringing the total number of products to 10. Both the Nightstick XPP-5410G
