Show Description
In the Mix is an hour long urban video show that interviews both major and up-in-coming
artists, djs, producers and entertainment industry whos who and is supplemented by 10 music
videos. The show airs every Saturday at 9:00pm on WUPL-TV (My54) in New Orleans and
surrounding areas. In the Mix promotes to an urban demographic ranging between the ages of
15-35. In the Mix is also the primary local marketing venue for music artists and business
owners along the lines of advertisement and promotions via prime time television hours.

Production Overview
In the Mix was created by Visionary Entertainment Media Groups affiliated agreement between
WUPL-TV (My54). WUPL-TV, virtual channel 54 (UHF digital channel 24), is a MyNetworkTVaffiliated television station serving New Orleans, Louisiana, United States that is licensed to Slidell. The
station is owned by the Gannett Company, as part of a duopoly with CBS affiliate WWL-TV (channel 4). The
two stations share studio facilities and offices located at 1024 N Rampart Street in the historic French
Quarter district; WUPL maintains transmitter facilities located off Behrman Highway in the
city's Algiers neighborhood.
WUPL shut down its analog signal, over UHF channel 54, on
June 12, 2009, the official date in which full-power television stations in the
United States transitioned from analog to digital broadcasts under federal
mandate. The station's digital signal remained on its pre-transition UHF
channel 24.[10] Through the use of PSIP, digital television receivers
display WUPL's virtual channel as its former UHF analog channel 54.
