Using Arc Map

This document provides instructions for using ArcMap to import point data from an Excel spreadsheet, visualize the points by category, select a subset of points, create a new shapefile for the subset, label the points, and draw polygons around related points to delineate site areas. Key steps include importing the points shapefile, displaying points by type, selecting points of type "site circumference", exporting them to a new shapefile, labeling points, creating an empty polygon shapefile, using the pencil tool to draw polygons around selected points, and adding an attribute field to name each polygon.
