High School:
High school quiz bowl practice Tuesday, 3:30 - 5:00 in Ms. Otto's room.

SENIORS: Meet in the library TODAY during intervention.


Student in Good Standing Day Grades 9-12: After lunch on December 19, there will be a half
day of volleyball tournament, movie rooms, and game room. You must sign up for a room if you
are on good standing. You must sign up by December 17 at 3:11pm. If you are an A plus tutor,
you do need a spot to go to until your party. If you plan on going to your party you must let us
know that as well. If you do not sign up for a spot then you will be assigned a spot.
The volleyball teams are now co-ed but they must have at least 3 girls on the team. Teams of 8 (6 will
play at a time, 2 will rotate in). The type tournament will depend on the number of teams that sign up.
It could range from double elimination (big # of teams) to round robin (smaller amount of teams).
The Paris FFA Christmas party is Wednesday December, 17 at 7:15 in the morning. Breakfast will be
served and drawing from the fish bowl will take place. You must be present to win the 50 and 100
dollars bills.
All of last year's wood working projects need to be picked up from Ms. Hickman's shop by the end of the
week. These would be projects completed with Mrs. Eckler's classes last year.
Students taking the ACT test on Saturday make sure you take your Admission ticket, your ID, pencil and
calculator. Be there by 7:45.

Students who took the PSAT test, come see Mrs. Youse for your score reports!
NHS members need to complete 4 hours of community service (for 1st semester) and turn in
their hours form to Mrs. Billington before 1st semester is complete (Dec 19th).

The University of Missouri - School of Medicine offers an exciting and informative summer experience
for high school students interested in a career in medicine. MUs High School Mini Medical School is a
one-week program that gives students a preview of life as an MU medical student. The application
deadline is March 1, 2015.
ATTN FBLA MEMBERS: Our December monthly meeting will be held after school at 6 p.m. TODAY. We
will be holding a normal meeting followed by brownie baking for our fundraiser.

Junior High:
There is a JH quiz bowl informational meeting during intervention on today in the Band Room.
If you are in 7th or 8th Grade and interested in Quiz Bowl this January through March Please
come to the meeting.

ALL STUDENTS:
Schedule Changes- Students will have January 7, 8, and 9 to make schedule changes. You must
see Mrs. Youse to discuss this and have your teachers/parents sign off.
FCA members: Remember to sign up for concession stands. Sign-up sheets are outside Mrs.
Ensor's room. Also sign up if you can work at the Food Bank on January 6, from 3:30 to 6:00.
There is no school that day.
FFA Tug of War:
-Teams of 10
-Must have 3 girls per team
-Entry fee is $10 (money goes to Christmas Is Caring)

Christmas is Caring Week! Spirit Days will be held each day starting December 8th!
