Welcome to SAINT HONORE


We congratulate you on becoming the fortunate owner of a SAINT HONORE
timepiece. Developed and manufactured in our workshops, the sophisticated
design and quality of craftsmanship displayed by this timepiece make it an
exceptional product that will be your companion for many years to come.
This manual contains all the setting instructions.
Before doing any technical work, always consults a SAINT HONORE
approved agent.

BASIC SETTINGS FOR ALL COLLECTIONS


Crown in position 1: operating position.
Crown in position 2: date correction (only applicable to models with a date
function). Avoid changing the date between 11.00 pm and 01.00 am as this
could damage the mechanism.
Crown in position 3: hours / minutes correction.
Be sure to always return the crown to position 1 after each operation.

QUARTZ CHRONOGRAPH MODELS


Basic settings: see page 13.

Chronograph functions
Chronograph start: press pusher A.
Chronograph stop: press pusher A again.
Chronograph restart: press pusher A again.
Return to zero: press pusher B.

Measuring intermediate times


Chronograph start: press pusher A.
Reading time 1: press pusher B.
Reading time 2: press pusher B again.
The hand will then catch up with the elapsed time.
The operation can be repeated several times.
Reading last time: press pusher A.
Return to zero: press pusher B.

Set counters to zero


60 seconds counter: crown in position 3, press several times pusher A.
1/10th counter: crown in position 3, press several times pusher B.
30 minutes counter: crown in position 2, press several times pusher B.

QUARTZ MOON PHASE MODELS


Quartz analog movement with the following displays: date, day and moon phase.
Day changes automatically Tuesday to Sunday at approx. midnight, on
Monday at approx. 00.15 am.
Date changes automatically Monday to Sunday at approx. 02.15 am.
Change of moon phase Monday to Sunday at approx. 08.00 pm.

Restrictions: between 11.30 pm and 05.30 am, calendar functions must
not be altered because automatic changes are in progress at these times;
pressing the pusher during these times may damage the movement.

Setting of the timepiece


Crown in position 1 (operating position): timepiece runs.
Crown in position 2 (stop-second): timepiece stops.

Set moon phase / Set date / Set day (only possibleusing the
winding crown)
Rotate hands clockwise past midnight until the full moon position appears
in the window on the dial. Continue rotating hands until 06.00 am (outside
restrictions).
Use the quick-change correctors to set the date (pusher A) and day (pusher B)
of the last full moon.
Then use the crown to turn the hands forwards until the current date is reached.
You have now set the correct moon phase position, date and day.
You can set the time.

QUARTZ MOON PHASE MODELS


Quick-change correctors
Quick-change corrector for date (pusher A at 4 oclock position):
pressing pusher A moves the date forward by one day.
You must not use this quick-change corrector between 11.30 pm and 05.30 am
because the automatic change mechanism is in operation between these
times.
Quick-change corrector for day (pusher B at 8 oclock position): pressing
pusher B moves the day display forward by one day.
You must not use this quick-change corrector between 11.30 pm and
05.30 am because the automatic change mechanism is in operation
between these times.

QUARTZ gmt MODELS


Quartz analog movement with the following displays: date and second
time zone.

Setting of the timepiece


Crown in position 1 (normal position): timepiece runs.
Crown in position 2:
Quick change of the date (clockwise), timepiece runs.
Quick change of 24h indication (anticlockwise), timepiece runs.
Crown in position 3: hand-setting, timepiece stops.
During the calendar jump phase between 10.30 pm and 12.00 am the date
can be changed. In this case the date of the following day needs to be set as
there will be no jump at midnight.

AUTOMATIC MODELS
The automatic mechanical movement is activated by the movements of your
wrist. Manual winding is only necessary if you do not wear the timepiece
for several days.

Setting of the timepiece


Crown in position 1: operating and winding position.
Take care not to overwind the mechanism (4 to 5 turns maximum).
Crown in position 2: correct the date.
Avoid changing the date between 11.00 pm and 01.00 am as this could
damage the mechanism.
Crown in position 3: hours / minutes correction.
Be sure to always return the crown to position 1 after each operation.
