Business Grants Advisor (Ref: BGA3472)


Permanent
Salary - 30,000 - 45,000 per annum
Location - Remote Working
Business Growth Hub are looking to recruit a Business Grants Advisor to deliver grant advisory and grant/funding application
services to enterprises on a commercial basis.

The duties of the job include:

Generating net income from provision of funding application services to enterprises / organisations.
Identifying and referring output opportunities to service provisions within the wider Group.
Maintaining a wide knowledge of current grant schemes.
Monitoring and maintaining a relevant working knowledge of State Aid Regulations.
Negotiating commercial contracts with customer enterprises / organisations
Supporting 75 companies per year with project assessments.
To achieve presentation of 3, high quality grant/loan applications within first 6 months of employment
Subsequent to first 6 months employment to generate sales revenues within the following 12 months sufficient to
cover gross wage and overhead allocation.
Following 18 months of employment to generate an annual revenue surplus amounting to at least 50% of gross
employment cost

We would like to hear from you if you have/are:

Experience in a similar role


The ability to match grant scheme criteria with relevant business development project activities
A detailed understanding of State Aid and General Block Exemption Regulations as they apply to business development
activities.
A wide knowledge of the grant landscape
A good understanding of business financial processes and funding arrangements.
The ability to present effectively and professionally at all levels of customer relationships
The ability to undertake extended, detailed working processes whilst maintaining quality output and meeting
application deadlines.
The ability to be creative in identifying and defining business opportunity whilst applying a logical approach to the
construction of grant application propositions
Previous success in applying for and securing grants, preferably on a commercial basis or alternatively in the delivery of
grant scheme projects.
Involvement in the analysis of business development projects to identify outputs and value indicators.
Involvement in the understanding of business funding arrangements.
An understanding of the currently active grantscape.
The ability to analyse and understand company financial reports and accounts.
A good understanding of State Aid, General Block Exemption and Assisted Area map regulations
