I am very interested in sound technology; I have helped with sound in many school shows
using skills I have learnt as part of the Tech Team. I am very musical and play the piano,
guitar, bass guitar, vocals and percussion. I play percussion for the 2427 SQN ATC Band. I
have passed my Grade 5 exam on piano and I am working towards my Grade 5 in Music
Theory along with my Grade 6 on piano.
I travelled to Uganda in July 2012 for two weeks with the Charity Esuubi in order to help
with construction work of an orphanage and the recording of the school choir for a charity
CD.
I joined air cadets in June 2009 due to my interest in aviation and in October 2009 I
received the Squadrons Best New Recruit Cup, nominated by members of staff. In 2009
and 2010 I gave the opening speech at the Squadrons Annual Battle of Britain Memorial
parade. I am currently a Cadet Sergeant and an Instructor Cadet. I have completed the
British Heart Foundations Heart Start, Emergency Life Support course. I visited Jordan with
the cadets as part of the first British team to walk from Wadi Rum to Mudawara since World
War One, flowing in the footsteps of T.E.Lawrence and presented my experiences to the
T.E.Lawrence Society in September at their annual symposium.
I completed my Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award in 2012 and I am working towards my Gold
Award.
