COURSE DESCRIPTION
Biology 325 Anatomy and Physiology I is a 4-credit majors level biology
course with both lecture and laboratory components (3 lecture and 4
laboratory hours). This course will cover integumentary, skeletal, muscular
(including joints) and nervous (including senses) systems of the human
body.
ATTENDANCE:
Attendance for the lecture is not required but highly recommended. Lecture
slides will be posted in a blackboard before the given lecture. However,
some slides/information may be different due to the last minute changes.
Attend the lectures to be aware of these changes.
Attendance for each laboratory session is mandatory! DO NOT BE LATE!
Each laboratory session starts with the lecture. Instructors will not tolerate
any interruptions. Laboratory lectures (slides) will be posted in a
blackboard before the given laboratory. However, some changes may occur
due to the last minute
alterations.
Make-up policy: You may make-up your missed laboratory session in
another
session. However, you are required to show official
documentation (e.g. doctors note) for your absence. You are also required
to contact the instructor you are
planning to make-up your missing
session in advance to ask permission to do so.
EXAMINATIONS AND EVALUATIONS:
- Lecture:

- Lecture grade will be the average of three examinations
- Laboratory:
- Three laboratory examinations
- Laboratory grade will be the average of three examinations
- FINAL GRADE: 50% of lecture and 50% of laboratory
