Excel Inclass Assignment - Slider-Crank

This document provides instructions for an Excel homework assignment to calculate the force in a connecting rod of a slider-crank mechanism using seven equations. Students are asked to create a spreadsheet that calculates connecting rod force over one revolution by inputting values for R, L, ω, and W and using equations to calculate crank angle, phi, r, velocity, acceleration, and force. They are then asked to plot displacement, velocity, and force versus crank angle on a separate sheet and format the chart and add a drawing of the slider-crank mechanism.
