Production of steel structures is divided into three units: cutting of profiles and sheet metal after preliminary sand-blasting, assembly and welding of steel structures, and anti-corrosion protection and packing. The production uses a continuous computer-controlled technological line for cutting profile and sheet metal with maximum dimensions of 18,000mm x 1,000mm x 300mm for profiles and 6,000mm x 1,500mm x 50mm for sheet metal. Cutting machines include a continuous sand-blasting machine, CAD/CAM centers, robots for flame cutting, scissors, line press, and circular saw.

TECHNICAL DATA ABOUT THE PRODUCTION OF STEEL STRUCTURES
Production of steel structures is based on a continuous com-
puter controlled technological line for cutting of profile and sheet metal. The technology enables accurate and fast pro- duction of simple as well as demanding screwed steel structures and high productivity. Maximal dimensions of work pieces processed on the line are as follows: Profiles: - Length: up to 18000 mm - Width: up to 1000 mm - Height: up to 300 mm Sheet metal: - Length: up to 6000 mm - Width: up to 1500 mm - Height: up to 50 mm The following processing machines are located on the cutting line: - Continuous sand-blasting machine, - CAD/CAM centre for profile processing, - CAD/CAM centre for sheet metal processing, - Robot cell for flame profile cutting, - Scissors, - Line press, - Circular saw. Continuous sand-blasting machine The elements are sand-blasted at a surface quality level of Sa 2.5 (SIST EN 055900). CAD/CAM centre for profile processing Profile processing is performed on the processing machine by CAD/CAM technology that includes a three-axial drilling machine, marking device and a band saw. Profiles are sawn up to a width of 1000 mm at an angle of 900, 800 mm under an angle of 450. Diameters of bore holes range from 10 to 40 mm. Robot cell for flame profile cutting Robot cell is intended for flame cutting of profiles. The robot is a five-axial one and profiles up to a length of 18000 mm and width up to 1200 mm can be processed by it. Cutting (processing) qualit y complies with standard ISO 9013 IA. Cutting of profiles and sheet metal Production of steel structures CUTTING OF PROFILES AND SHEET METAL AFTER PRE- LIMINARY SAND-BLASTING cutting of profiles and sheet metal after pre- liminary sand-blasting Production of steel structures is divided into three units: assembly and welding of steel structures anti-corrosion protection and packing Sheet metal cutting There are two machines on the line for sheet metal cutting: - Centre for sheet metal processing - Flame cutting - Single-axial drilling machine with 6-place storing - Flame cutting machine (CNC) Sheet metal up to a width of 1500 mm and length of 6000 mm is processed on the line. Diameters of bore holes range from 10 to 40 mm. Scissors Scissors cut sheet metal up to a length of 4000 mm and thickness of 10 mm. Line press Sheet metal up to a length of 4000 mm and thickness of 5 mm is processed on the line press. Band saw Profiles up to a length of 8000 mm and width of 200 mm are cut by the band saw at an angle of 900 (140 mm at an angle of 450) and a height of 200 mm. Robot cell for flame profile cutting ASSEMBLY AND WELDING ANTI-CORROSIVE PROTECTION PACKING There are twelve movable work places on the assembly and welding line. If necessary, test assembly shall be performed because of the assurance of production accuracy. Welding in protective gas Krysal 18 is performed in accordance with the MAG procedure. Welding staff is trained in compliance with EN 287-1. Welding work is performed in accordance with the Major welding certificate (DIN 18800). The Quality Sector performs quality control over the work done and a European welding engineer performs the welding control. Dust and grease shall be removed from a steel structure by dry air before a paint coat is applied. Anti-corrosive protection is per- formed by spraying or manually, if required. Steel structure might be hot galvanised in a thickness of protec- tive coating - approx. 70 mm. A structure for hot galvanisation is limited to the elements in a length of 12000 mm and height of 2500 mm. Elements are suitably protected and packed in adequate pack- aging material.
