PWM Based Three Phase Induction Motor Speed Controller

This project involves developing a PWM-based speed controller for a three-phase induction motor. The controller uses a microcontroller to generate PWM pulses that are sent to an inverter circuit connected to the motor. This allows the motor speed to be varied by adjusting the frequency of the AC waveform supplied to the motor. A rectifier converts AC mains power to DC, which is then converted back to AC using the PWM-controlled inverter. The microcontroller also interfaces with a keypad and LCD to set the desired motor speed and display feedback. Applications include speed control for textile, rolling, and conveyor belt machinery.

PWM BASED THREE PHASE INDUCTION MOTOR SPEED

CONTROLLER
Objective:
The objective of our project is PWM Based Three Phase Induction Motor Speed
Controller.
Brief methodology:
This project is designed with
Microcontroller
Pwm driver board
Pwm inverter section
Keypad
3 phase motor
Lcd display
In this project is used to control the speed of the three phase induction
motor. The motor speed can be varied using the freuency variation method. In
this project! the input "# $% &' sine wave is converted into (' using the rectifier.
The &' sine wave is produced using pulse width modulation techniue. The pulse
width modulation pulses are the group of pulses generated with respect to the ac
waveform. In this project we are used the microcontroller to generate the pulse
width modulation pulses. The pulses are given to the M)*+,T driver. The driver
section will improve the current of the pulses. The final output of the M)*+,T
driver is given to the M)*+,T-s. The M)*+,T-s will switch on the high volt
according to the pulse width modulation pulses. The pulse width modulation pulse
duty cycle and pulse width are generated in the mathematical manipulation with
respect to the o.p waveform. &lso the microcontroller will calculate the current
demand fort ht e reuired torue. The torue fluctuations can be managed using
the current vector control. *o the speed variations can be varied with respect to ht
freuency of the o.p sine wave. The microcontroller will display the estimated
speed in the L'( display. The /eyboards also interface with the microcontroller to
get the set speed of the motor from the user. In this project is mainly used for
controlling the speed of the motor and controlling the torue reuirement of the
load.
