He was a former resident of Warren County, Ohio who worked as a geologist and lived in several Western states. He later worked for the LDS church and had 7 children with his ex-wife before passing away at his home in Boise, Idaho.

Idaho and formerly"OTvva^iw diedMonday. March31 at home. He was born in Dayton on Sept. 22. 1941 toRoy and Beulah Line and graduated from Waynesvllle High School in 1959. He received his bachelor's degree from Ohio University in geology , and he married Janet McMillan in 1962. After graduating from col lege he moved with his family to Butte. Mont, where he worked for Anaconda Mines. He attended the University ofMontana in Missoula for two years and completed all but his thesis work. i He lived and worked in many Western states during the follow ing years. He was an exploration geologist for the Atomic Energy | Commission. Kerr-McGee j Corporation and Morrison | Knudson in Boise. \ His work took him and his fam ily to Butte; Missoula; Grand Junction. Col.; Albuquerque; Reno and Kennewick, Wash, before moving to Boise in 1981. He joined the Church ofJesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1965 and he and Janet were married in the Idaho Falls Temple in 1966. He worked for the LDS church for the last 14 years. He and Janet were married for 31 years and divorced in 1993. He is survived by his former wife; children Kelly Valle of Boise. Rob of Pleasant Grove. Utah. Dan of Enterprise. Ore.. Kris of Boise. Holly Prows of Boise, Heather of Salt Lake City. Heidi Vong of Meridian and Kerry, serving on an LDS mission in Metairie. La.; . grandchildren Erin Valle. Andra Line. Dalian Valle. Jay Valle. Rob was first, followed by Dan and Kris. Rob attended Brifiham Young tjiilversity,' oh " a ' leadership scholarship and played for the BYU basketball team in the 19&4-85 season. He is now serv ing in a church mission in Quito. Ecuador. Dan attended BYU during the 1985-86 year on an academic scholarship and was on the dean's list while there. He worked for Hewlett-Packard's SEED Pro gram and left on a mission to Albuquerque. N.M.. on Sept. 3. Kris entered BYU on a dean's scholarship In September. Special theraputic gynnastic equipment was purchased to be used by the severely handicapped children. * Many scouts and friends helped with the money making project and spent over 200 hours in their effort.
