Characters Actors Locations Interviewer LAKES Driver Forest/fields in old Romney Passenger Great stone beach Murderer Folkestone hills? Time-lapse Friend one police interview room Friend Two Inside of a car. Murder Victim House Party.
Introduction: We see a black screen and a gun clicks, as the shot is fired, we see a film by SLAM productions (Shipley, Lucas, Alfie, Matt) Then we also see the general stuff that must be done: directed by so and so with filming by whomever edited by this person etc. The text fades out and we cut to scene __________________________________________________________________________________ Scene One: Location Police Station Interview styled room. Text at the bottom of the screen reads oct 14 th
6:05PM or whatever time and date would be appropriate. The camera is looking over the shoulder of the DRIVER character who is in the dark and out of focus, we see an interviewer, preferably someone older, dressed in a suit. Interviewer: Okay, were recording now, so Mr. DRIVER, can you tell us what you did over the last 3 days or so? As accurately as you can please. Silence The interviewer adjusts his tie/drinks his coffee etc. Interviewer: Mr. DRIVER? The screen goes black and text says with music by artist 1 and musician 2, and band 3. Etc. whilst we hear: Interviewer: Itll really help us catch him. The screen instantly cuts to the next shot. __________________________________________________________________________________ Scene Two: Text at the bottom of the screen reads oct 14 th 7:36AM. We see the local area, the barrenness and isolation of Dungeness and lydd-on-sea, and the lakes. All we hear for a while is the wind, then gently and suddenly a voiceover. [In the style of no country for old men] Murderer: The first one was definitely the trickiest after that it actually becomes easy tedious even. But its got to be done, I hav- No, I want to I like it, its satisfying something about the Media studies AS YET UNTITLED PLOTLINE/SCRIPT WRITTEN BY MATTHEW NIXON. WITH EDITING FROM LUCAS SOTIRIOU.

feeling of a bullet leaving your gun and watching someone fall to the floor, the life draining out of their eyes, is just so.. Exhilarating *Pause+ Its ironic really *whilst almost laughing], how alive it makes you feel. And hey, 1 body for 15 grand? Who could say no? We are starting at the very end of the events, after roughly half of the voiceover, we finally see this man; he shows no emotion at all, a clear lack of empathy - he is looking away into nothing, over the lakes (Hes sat in the concrete base or by the listening ears. He looks tired, like he hasnt slept for a while though nicely dressed, his clothes and skin are dirty, there may be a little bit of blood. he speaks in almost a cryptic, nonchalant way the way you would talk when being forced upon what to say what he says fades out to nothing and the main character we sings a Contradictory song, e.g. (Suzanne Leonard Cohen; Everly brothers Dream. Sitting on the dock of the bay, Otis Redding ETC. As long as it feels slightly creepy. He stops singing after he notices the sirens which are coming more and more prominent. [Slowly, like end of breaking bad] He closes his eyes and leans against a wall almost accepting his fate, the camera pans and we see a body within the shot, in the foreground Obviously dead, yet not over the top. We cannot currently identify it but can see the body in the foreground has been shot square between the eyes. It turns out to be PASSENGER CHARACTHER. The original piece of music he was singing continues to play, though overpowered by the sirens which stop as suddenly as the scene changes. __________________________________________________________________________________ Scene Three: Text at the bottom of the screen reads oct 13 th 6:53pm. We cut to the inside of a car; the music is coming from their radio, and is the song that was being played.one person is driving and theres someone in the passenger seat. Filmed from the back seat we hear them talking, the camera may be looking through the windscreen mirror into the drivers face as he drives. Driver: Havent heard this one in a while, Turn this up PASSENGER NAME, its so good! Passenger: (If we can swear) Hell no, its (Shit/Terrible.) Driver: (laughs) (Piss off/Shut it) you wouldnt know good music if it hit you square between the eyes. FORESHADOWING AS HE GETS SHOT THERE. The two laugh and the passenger changes the station where we hear a reporter saying something along the lines of After a string of murders, Police are looking for a local man under the name of MAIN CHARACTER NAME, last seen in *Possibly a womens voice, in the style of news.+ The passenger turns the radio off and asks: (The camera is now filming the car drive into the distance yet he can still hear the two) PASSENGER: So whose party is this anyway? It better be good DRIVER NAME, (MADE REALLY CLEAR TO EMPHASISE HE WAS THE ONE BEING INTERVIEWED.) Ive missed the last two. The car drives into the distance and the two continue laughing and talking about the party [this fades out and does not play during most of the time-lapse] whilst a time-lapse plays from maybe the beach? Up on Folkestone hills? Until its night. Next scene. __________________________________________________________________________________ Scene Three Part Two: Text reads oct 13 th 10:12PM We are leading up a driveway, towards the front door, following driver and passenger, we hear some Dubstep/Drum and Bass/Grime. We see loads of typical party scenes Media studies AS YET UNTITLED PLOTLINE/SCRIPT WRITTEN BY MATTHEW NIXON. WITH EDITING FROM LUCAS SOTIRIOU.

from inside, in time with the music, e.g.: (Very fast Paced) Cut to drinks, cut to drugs/smoking, cut to beer pong, cut to dancing, singing etc. and we cut to the next scene in time with the beat which stops as we cut. __________________________________________________________________________________ Scene Four: Text at the bottom of the screen reads oct 13 th 05:24PM We are in forests or a field, we have a person running, if you can call it that theyre kind of limping, and falling and keep trying to turn around- theyre exhausted and sweaty. We hear heavy breathing and see someone chasing them, hes on a motorbike if possible, if not hes running he appears to be calm and cool, contended. The camera is looking from a distance and their gap is clearly closing, the man being chased makes a turn his last, and the man chasing him is right there. No surprises, its the murderer. He tackles him to the ground or just simply stands over the fallen (maybe due to exhaustion) soon to be victim. (Birds eye shot) He points his gun at his face before frowning and throwing it to the side of the victim. He returns to his vehicle/or grabs something out of his bag, a knife. He walks over and stands over the fallen man, a disturbed smile falls upon his face, as if he cannot help it. The camera cuts to beautiful scenery local to the area. Birds fly to the noise of a sharp and loud scream that follows a slashing sound, the scream is cut short by a second slashing noise. We cut to a high angled shot of the murderer pulling a body under a bloody blanket away, Back the way he came. He comes back, not forgetting his gun which he examines long enough for the audience to know its seriousness. (Its the weapon that will kill the PASSENGER character. Throughout the last scene EITHER intense music was playing, typical horror/action loud music, which only fades on the shots where the camera was at a distance. OR creepy music like hard and fast played piano. OR EVEN gentle piano, which will be creepy and create suspense for the audience. Bold is oreferably. Silence with more of the scenery. We hear the gentle wind again. __________________________________________________________________________________ Scene Five: Same location as the party, possibly we are outside. Text reads oct 13 th 11:04PM We hear typical party music similar to earlier, slightly distorted and muffled as they are quiet and outside (or in a different room), this also adds to the mystery and suspense.
All characters are dressed in typical house party attire. Passenger: This place is whack/wack. Friend 2: Anyone fancy going lakes? Friend 1: Lets do it! Theyre proper cotch. Passenger: Ive never actually been, its not even far is it? Friend 1: Definitely better than this party (laughs) Friend 2: DRIVER NAME can give us a lift. Driver: I dont really know man, its late and my mum wants me back by midnight. Friend1: Come on DRIVER NAME, dont be a pussy/melt! Passenger: Yeah, sort it out DRIVER NAME! (Jokingly) ALL INVOLVED: Laugh

The camera pans towards the moon or something somewhat ominous as we hear and see them walk away. The driver says something funny, e.g.: Driver: Alright, alright, just dont puke in my car guys. Etc. etc. __________________________________________________________________________________ Scene Six: A low ominous and quiet sound starts in the background, this will continue until the films name shows, we have it slowly increase, exponentially before coming a scary music and eventually ending with the same gun click and shot we heard at the beginning. We are back at the lakes we started off at. Text reads Oct 13 th 11:43 we see some establishing shots to set the tone. The guys are sitting by the lake, from in front with a light we see their silhouettes and hear them talk. The camera may switch to close up and multiple people shots as they talk. They all apart from driver are continuing to drink their drinks. Driver: Come on guys, Lets go, Im already going to get killed for being out so late, last time dad took my Xbox for a week, you guys try going without Fifa for that long! (They all laugh!) Passenger: (in a high pitched mocking voice) Ooooh okay everyone lets go home because DRIVER NAME is scared, they all get up to leave and have a bit of banter with DRIVER. Friend 1: Actually my Dads is just 10 minutes away, Im gonna bounce, FRIEND 2 NAME, you can stay round if you like? He nods and agrees Friend 2: See you later boys! The two friends turn and walk away. Passenger has a bit of a laugh with DRIVER and mocks him for worrying about staying out late etc. By this point the ominous sound is fairly obvious. We cut to see the murderer, looking as he was at the beginning of the film, pulling the body bag from before along or perhaps burying it. The boys turn a corner and stop in their tracks, starting on their focus we slide the focus onto the man as PASSENGER drops a bottle. (Loud sound) At this point the music starts and the murderer turns and sees the boys. New camera shot, match on match action: The low noise which was loud has now become music, fast paced and low maybe even a song, perhaps something like Placebo. All the following is very fast paced and edited quickly and suddenly. The boys noticed the body bag, they turn to run and DRIVER is clearly already making a lead. The murderer fires a shot and misses whilst chasing them. A typical action chase scene occurs, (Shouting, screaming, etc. making the most use of camera shots and editing that we can yet not clearly over the top. DRIVER is throwing trees down and getting away cleverly, PASSENGER is a little tipsy but not stupidly drunk, he is not in control as well as he should be and trips over a tree put out by DRIVER, his leg is hurt. We are back at the base by this point and the Passenger is crawling away, clearly hurt DRIVER has run very far away by this point, perhaps we hear his car drive away, maybe we even see it for another shot. The murderer stands over him in the same way he stood over the previous victim we saw get killed earlier, from a POV shot he points his gun at the camera and after we hear pleading and cries from PASSENGER, the murderer fires (the same gunshot sound from the beginning.) Cut to black and the music stops. One word fills up on the black screen font undecided It is the name of the film which is yet to be decided.
