The Appellant was not present in spite of notice.
On behalf of the Respondent, the following were present:-

2. The Appellant did not turn up for the hearing in spite of notice. The
Respondents were present and made their submissions.
3. The Appellant had sought a variety of information regarding the
government houses provided to the MPs. The CPIO had provided him with
CIC/SM/A/2011/000146
some information. The Appellate Authority had endorsed the information
provided by the CPIO.
4. In the second appeal, the Appellant has objected to the information
provided to him as incomplete or incorrect. On the other hand, the Respondents
submitted that they did not maintain the information in the form in which the
Appellant had sought it.
5. After carefully considering the facts of the case and the submissions
made by the Respondents, we think that it would suffice if the CPIO would
provide him with a list of all the MPs along with the accommodation officially
provided to each one of them not only for themselves but also for their guests
as on the date of the RTI application. Besides, he may be invited to inspect the
relevant records in the Rajya Sabha secretariat on any mutually convenient
date. The Respondents informed that they had earlier given such opportunity to
the Appellant but he did not choose to come and inspect the records.
6. Be that as it may, now, we direct the CPIO to invite the Appellant on any
mutually convenient date within 15 working days of receiving this order and to
show him the relevant records for his inspection. Besides, we also direct him to
provide the Appellant a list of MPs along with the official accommodation
provided to each one of them.
7. The appeal is disposed off accordingly.
8. Copies of this order be given free of cost to the parties.
