$he competition is open to all go-ernment3aided
schools. 'nly ONE contestant will represent his 4
her state at the national le-el.
$he competition is di-ided into two sections5

/or Section +, contestants are to obser-e the
following rules5
Stories presented can be authentic, adapted

or originally written.
Stories presented must not touch on
sensiti-e issues such as race, religion,
stereotyping, politics, etc.
Stories must be thematically educational.
Contestants are o)-2 allowed to use the
stand microphone pro-ided to ensure
minimal mo-ement.
Props, backdrops and sound e6ects are not
allowed. #ny use of these will allow
for dis7uali1cation by the .udges.
$ime allocated to present the story is 4 $o 3
minutes. $he bell will be rung at the 8

Each contestant picks an en-elope
containing a card.

Stories told in Section ) should not be a
repetition or reproduction of any story
presented in Section +. Contestants will be
dis7uali1ed if they do so.
#ny inclusion of singing should enhance
and not dominate the presentation.
