schools. 'nly ONE contestant will represent his 4
her state at the national le-el.

Stories presented can be authentic, adapted

or originally written.
Stories presented must not touch on
sensiti-e issues such as race, religion,
stereotyping, politics, etc.
Stories must be thematically educational.
Contestants are o)-2 allowed to use the
stand microphone pro-ided to ensure
minimal mo-ement.
Props, backdrops and sound e6ects are not
allowed. #ny use of these will allow
for dis7uali1cation by the .udges.
$ime allocated to present the story is 4 $o 3
