The Data Interpretation part will include questions on the following topics:

3. X-Y Charts
The Typical Data shown on an x-y Chart involves a Time Series
4. Pie Charts
The Data Interpretation part of the Section 1 of CAT 2013 will include approximately 10 questions. Considering the
past few years trend, the questions are high on calculations and are calculation intensive and the difficulty level is on
the other side. The majority of the questions are based on caselets and graphs combination.
CAT 2013 Syllabus for Verbal Ability
The verbal Ability questions will on the following topics:

Section 2 which includes Verbal Ability as a sub section of CAT 2013 will include 20 questions. The questions will be

Comprehension passages followed by 4 to 5 questions each. The length of the RC passages will vary from 250 to
300 words.
