The purpose of this research is to determine the perception of the College of
International Tourism and Hospitality Management (CITHM) students on the potential of
the Lyceum of the Philippines - Cavite campus as a major tourist attraction in the
Province of Cavite. Its potential was assessed using variables, namely, high quality,
authenticity, uniqueness, drawing power, and activity options. Descriptive method was
used in the study and survey was distributed to the 349 students of the College. All year
levels were considered as participants of the study. The results show that in terms of
quality, the participants agreed that LPU-Cavite possessed high quality traits especially
with its excellent appearance and ambiance. They also believed that the campus has an
authentic value and offers activity options for tourist. Majority of the participants,
likewise, agreed that they are willing to revisit the campus again. Among all the
variables, the participants strongly agreed that in terms of uniqueness, the architecture
and structure of the campus stands out among the rest. Hence, it can be concluded that
the LPU-Cavite campus has a potential to become a tourist attraction in the province of
Cavite with an overall mean. The characteristic of LPU-Cavite was agreed by the
participants by the overall grand mean of 4.12 verbally interpreted as high quality and
authenticity. It is recommended that LPU-Cavite management should continuously
sustain, improve and enhance their facilities and services to be able to become not only a
leading university in the Asia-Pacific region but also a leading attraction in the province.
