PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Bostik Marine 920 is a one part, gun grade urethane
sealant/adhesive that moisture cures to an extremely tough,
resilient seal which exhibits excellent tear and abrasion
resistance while retaining permanent elastomeric properties. It
has tenacious adhesion to most common marine substrates
including virtually all woods, metal, FRP and most plastics.
Marine 920 can be used as either an adhesive or as a sealant.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
Bostik Marine 920 is recommended for any marine application
above or below the water line where a quality elastomeric seal
is required. It is suitable for sealing hardware around windows
and doors, deck to hull assembly, hull seams, keel joints and
under moldings.
Bostik Marine 920 is not designed as a glazing sealant in which
the adhesive bond to glass is exposed to sunlight and
appreciable amounts of ultraviolet radiation.
Bostik Marine 920 should NOT be used when the temperature
is below 40 F.
CLEAN-UP
Use Bostik Hand & Tool Towels to clean excess sealant from all
surfaces and tools while still uncured. Cured sealant can be
removed with a sharp blade.
NOTE: Cured sealant is usually very difficult to remove without
altering or damaging the surface to which the sealant was
applied.
SHELF LIFE
When stored at or below 80F (27C), Bostik Marine 920
polyurethane sealant has a shelf life of twelve months from date
of manufacture.
