A. The ICT Proficiency Exam is designed to assess the competence of an individual to
perform programming or systems analysis and design functions. This is in pursuant to
PD 140! "hich directs the #ational Computer Center $#CC% and the Civil &ervice
Commission $C&C% to device "ays of determining the fitness of individuals in
occupying highly technical ICT positions and through "hich the a"arding of
appropriate ICT $EDP% &pecialist eligi'ility "ill 'e 'ased. #CC and C&C therefore
conduct tests in the areas of Computer Programming and &ystems (nalysis and
Design $&(D%.

A. To )ualify! an applicant must 'e a *ilipino citi+en and a 'achelor,s degree holder or
"ill graduate 'efore the exam date $as certified 'y the Dean of the school% and must
have undergone formal training in college or training institution in the areas of
programming or &(D.
