Titration Lab Report

This document describes a lab experiment to determine the concentration of acetic acid in vinegar through titration. Students titrate a sample of vinegar with a sodium hydroxide solution of known concentration. They use phenolphthalein indicator to identify the endpoint and calculate the moles of acetic acid reacted to determine the concentration. The concentration found is then used to calculate the percentage of acetic acid by mass in the vinegar sample, which is compared to the listed percentage on the vinegar bottle label.
